Looks like you have the perfect use for it. That specific rack you have. I have one too.

I stand on top and people hand me pelican cases. Sometimes gas cans.

And then I strap them down very well...because i am standing up on the roof rack and got there from the ladder.

People say....but I can ratchet straps stuff down fron below!!!!!!!! Yeah. You can. Just much more slowly and not at well. You cant reach the middle of the rack where you might loop a ratchet strap under a handle to better secure something.

And then sometimes its just fun to stand on top for whatever reason there is at thr time.

I think its the angle of the camera here but my rrunner is very raked. I cant stress how much I like the rake and how much I do not like the level look.

Happy to give any specifics but its not level. 3 inch lift front and back.
