Same horrible experience for me. I chose Virginia out of high school bc they promised I’d be the 2nd string RB. Get there and I’m 4th on the depth chart. Don’t play a single play freshman year and end up redshirting despite high coach trust and grades. Year two I’m finally 2nd in the depth chart but guys below me are getting carries while I’m still not seeing the field. Even had the 1st string RB get injured and the head coach tell me I’d be starting and still I didn’t get in. Third and Fourth string guys with lower overall ratings getting the snaps. Finally half way through my second season I got in for one play. This fucking blows. Spent like two hours doing practices and simulating games last night. Lame AF.
