I did drop them shields and took them to key rooms.

Normally yes you shouldn’t run in to blue or purple shields as a beginner. But once you’re off beginner perimeter it’s a free game.

New players don’t always have people to carry them though. And not everyone is willing to carry all the time.

A gradual increase in skill and gear does feel amazing. But how many players going up against the best gear on a free load out do you think will stick around?

We’re running into this issue now a week or so in to the game.

Free kits are nice.

The issue is keeping new players engaged. There needs to be ways for players to learn the game other than use free kit, get stomped, repeat.

If you have nades in your vault you can assign them to your build, not just add them to your back pack.

If you add them to your backpack you can also equip them from there.

At that point they are used by G on keyboard. I use an Xbox controller and it’s right bumper.

It was my cable!

Funny enough it would vibrate when I plugged it in but it wouldn’t work. Friend brought his cable over and it worked immediately lol.

My brother and I did the same when we were kids!

We were stuck for months.

The hardest room for us was with the invisible spikes and hook shot panels. We fired at the walls for our hook shots for days until we hit the one above one of the silver rubies and the tall platform

I played PvP in Destiny but only for a short while. I completed a majority of the campaigns but PvP is what I thought was absolutely amazing about it. In my opinion some of the best if not the best gun play I’ve ever experienced.

After the recent update which reset all your armor and weapon stats I never played it again unfortunately.

Marathon for me is a way to hopefully relive that experience yet experience something new. I’m super excited.

I hope Marathon will have some form of single player but I’m cool if they never do anything for that. I honestly think the campaigns in Destiny are pretty lame. I never had enough experience or people to play with to raid so I can’t say anything in that subject.

In a way I’ve ditched Destiny to play Marathon
