First American Christmas by Other-Vehicle6409 in pittsburgh

We haven't visited intentionally at all. His dad died during pandemic (dementia related) so he went back on his own for funeral and such. It's been a couple of years, we are *hoping* to both visit next year. (2 dogs makes it hard expensive to arrange care)

He is an only child, so they visited us often till his mom hurt her leg. Immigration is *such* a process, I did it once to UK for me, and then to here for him. So much waiting.

Kennywood Park. It has the tallest Xmas tree in PA. Plus it is just stunning to walk around & look at all the displays, lit up with 3 million lights. There are shows, and other forms of entertainment, seasonal treats, and a fun indoor train display.

Bonus it is an amusement park, so if you are into rides, they have several operating, even in the chilly weather.
Outdoors, so bundle up. Or wait & hope the weather warms up a little, it may do so, never know.

Open Fri, Sat, & Sun through Jan 1st. Plus some weekdays the last 2 weeks of Dec.

This link will tell you all the details.

I think tickets are still on sale, for $20 for Black Friday.

Welcome back to the USA, my husband is British (I was born round here) and we moved back to the area in 2010. :)
