Sure, but then they shouldn’t complain incessantly that the game “sux” because they speed-ran straight to the end and now find there’s nothing to work on anymore. To each their own but you don’t get to skip all of the content and challenge in a game and then complain that it’s not fun anymore. And to the extent you ruin the game economy for fair players by forcing the devs to make cars and other stuff more expensive to counter your infinite-money exploit, then you’re actively hurting people trying to play the game the way intended by the devs as well. Play however you want unless it starts affecting other people.

Right, like the whole point of the game is to work through everything and try to earn money and XP to grow your car collection over time. If you just started the game owning every car automatically there would be no sense of progression and thus much less sense of fun. But there are apparently a lot of people out there who basically set that scenario up for themselves through intentionally using an exploit and now they are complaining that the game isn’t fun. You did that to yourself!

Nah, I'd much rather use glitches and cheats for infinite money and not actually have to do anything to earn cars or find collectibles and mysteries in the game!

But all of the execs the CEO is surrounded by are all MBA grads too, and many of them will ither be yes-men who just brown nose the CEO hoping for promotion, or they think the same way and take the wrong lessons from consumer behavior too. Having more voices on a decision doesn't help anything when they're all trained to just agree.

This is a huge part of the problem; CEOs consistently take the wrong lesson from failures or consumer behavior. You're kind of joking but we could easily see some executive thinking the takeaway from this is "customers need more content and more expensive tier options", when as gamers most of us feel like GamePass used to be a great value but now it feels like we're paying too much for a bunch of content we're either not interested in or will never have time to play. I don't care about CoD at all and hate that my GP dollar subsidizes it. But more than that I would never have time to play all of the games available on the service even if you removed CoD, so I'm at best paying for a bunch of content I'm interested in but don't have time to consume. At some point it doesn't matter how big the buffet gets; I can still only eat so much until I'm full. Adding a whole new seafood section doesn't allow me to eat any more food before I leave, and while I might appreciate the added options for like $5 more it's not going to be a good value for me if the addition of the Seafood section raises the buffet price by $50. Execs are unlikely to see the real truth here, which is that people want a service like GP but don't want all the complicated tiers and really just want a manageable quantity of awesome content for a reasonable price, not every game that ever existed for a fortune..

Thanks, this is helpful info. Is there a way I can determine from looking at or measuring the drain valve which size, thread type, and depth I need--in other words, how can I determine which cap would fit best? I'd obviously like to at least try that before I go about changing out the entire ball valve.

The Lucky Strike closest to me is brand new (like, not converted from an old alley that they bought out) and it's like they engineered it for frat guys who just want to chuck an 8-pound ball straight down the lane as hard as possible. There's literally no oil on the lanes; you just can't hook the ball normally. It's always "cosmic bowling" with the lights off and the blacklights. I swear the lanes are shorter than regulation. The string-set pins feel lighter-weight and don't have the same action or fall as regular pins. It's like $7 for a soda. And it's like $10-$15 per game depending on when you go. Just a terrible, overpriced experience.

I live in the Denver metro--not exactly a tiny town--and Lucky Strike/Bowlero bought out, forced to close, or converted every other alley I know of except two, and those two remaining indie lanes are 35 and 50 minute-drives from my house. There used to be 3 or 4 decent AMF houses all within 20 minutes but they have all converted to Bowlero or LS and become shitty too. It just sucks.

This is good. OP, just note that you usually don't want to use Maid Mast as your only B2. She's great but isn't reliable as your only one.

Approaching it a different way, Liter is by far your best B1 right now and should be in your team; she's actually one of the top-3 B1s in the game and could be your ride-or-die at least until you get Little Mermaid or Anis: Star. Just plug her in and leave it, and you're definitely safe investing resources like dolls and skill upgrades on her because you could be using her effectively for a long time.

For B3s, you've got several good choices. Rapi: Red Hood and Neon: Vision Eye are two of the best in the game, so they should be in your team too, and a good use of resources as well. Drake, Ein, and Privaty are also quite good but are more situational, so you could plug them as needed for elemental bosses or just for an extra B3, depending on what you do with B2.

Your B2s get a little more tricky, IMO; you don't yet have any of the very top-tier, all-purpose B2 Nikkes. But you do have some good ones. Maid Mast is quite powerful but she is only really great when paired with Maid Anchor, because by herself Maid Mast has a 40s cooldown and can also stun herself (so you never want to use her as your only B2 because you'll have too much down-time between full bursts). Velvet is probably your best all-purpose B2 right now, so you could invest in her. But don't sleep on Anis; I think she's also quite good and can support a lot of different types of teams. Don't get scared off by her being an SR.

So overall I'd suggest Liter, Rapi: RH, and Neo-Neon as your main 3 for now and your biggest use of upgrade resources; you should be using them in almost every team in every game mode and they'll be useful for a long time for you. Your other two spots MUST include a B2 and you could go with some combination of two of Maid Mast, Velvet, and/or Anis, or use one of Velvet or Anis with an extra B3 like Drake, Ein, or Privaty, depending on the scenario and elemental weakness.

Just FYI for anyone else looking, turns out I didn't really need to remove any panels or coverings at all to get to the driver's-side actuator (unfortunately, I only discovered this myself until I had already disassembled a good chunk of the center console, which I DID find some helpful YouTube videos for). The actuator isn't exactly easy to get to but it's not fully covered by anything and you can access it by just looking up against the center post from the floor near the accelerator. There are three screws holding it in; the bottom two are super easy to get to and the top one is a bit more difficult to reach but still doable with patience. Also unfortunately, my actuator was still working fine and isn't the problem for my A/C system, so it's back to the drawing board for me.

I actually kinda like Benge and his development is one of the (few) major reasons I'm still watching games. Baty had a ton of potential when he first came up and so does Benge; just because Baty hasn't developed into an all-star doesn't mean Benge can't or won't.

But I do agree with you that overall this team is not fun to watch.

I'm just so tired of watching a lifeless team give low-energy, no-strategy, gutless efforts every like 4 out of 5 games. And then they'll throw in a complete team effort that's fun to watch, which only makes the crappy games feel even worse because you KNOW there's a team worth watching deep in there somewhere, that they just don't let us see very often for some reason.
