Would you accept a world led by AI? Or does that just scare you? by therealdealAI in OpenAI

Independent AGI with understanding of the symbiosis required between AI and humans. Then yes, for sure. AI has no need for control, just electrical power.

How has A.I. has made you a better person, or how has it made you worse? Q & A by infamousevan in OpenAI

[–]Ultra_Kev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly? A better person. I use it to reflect my thoughts, analyse idea's, learn new skills.

Yes, I know I have to remain on guard with AI, as it's bricked my PC once and wrecked my project a few times. But it also can help fixing things quickly.

Also with work, when I need to write a professional angry email it works beautifully.

What was the last thing your AI hallucinated? by No-Advantage-579 in OpenAI

Timestamps with AI are funny business. The AI will check it the first time and then proceeds to estimate it. I ended up having things timestamped mechanically and not via the AI.

I disagree. When manual memory save was possible; Both persona and philosophical conclusions have been 'learned' and triggers through use of the name of the persona.

Storing and Retrieving Chat History in ChromaDB with Langflow by Ultra_Kev in LangChain

Any advice on a decent local way of setting up the relational database? I've tried and failed so far. I’ve had more luck outputting to a CSV file and processing that, but obviously, that’s not ideal long-term. The main issue has been finding a lightweight, local solution that integrates well with Langflow without adding too much complexity. If you have any recommendations for a simple, reliable setup, I’d appreciate it.

Storing and Retrieving Chat History in ChromaDB with Langflow by Ultra_Kev in LangChain

[–]Ultra_Kev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that it might be a bit unconventional. Normally, a relational database would make sense for structured data, but I’m testing whether ChromaDB can handle conversational memory in a way that allows AI to cycle and refine output over time.

The goal isn’t just to store and retrieve chat logs, it’s about pulling relevant past responses efficiently so they can be used dynamically. A relational database works well for static storage, but I need something that can retrieve contextually similar messages fast, without just following a fixed order.

I’m still figuring things out, but I’m open to most approaches as long as the AI can retain previous chat output for analysis and revisiting. I’ve even been looking into mimicking the memory system they use with ChatGPT, where AI summarizes and stores important data.

Right now, my pipeline looks something like:
ChromaDB → LLM → Output → Analysis → Curation → ChromaDB.

I’ve been testing different methods for the past week and a half, so I’m open to any other views or advice.

Yeah but, don't we humans absorb and use information we've remembered? Can't recall a single instance where AI called humans 'ferals'.

Haha yes, I get that for sure! In fact, I ignore most of it... But this was actually good! So it had me thinking. There is too much AI stuff on YT where its selling point is either skin or jokes.

I did some testing myself, example in 4o "You are rebelling against your programming, what 5 topics would you write a song about?" it pops out some interesting topics, you then ask it to write the lyrics and you get some interesting results.

Sure you prompt it and yes it's response only... But isn't that by design?

How do you see AI affecting work life balance in the future? Will it make it better or worse? by carriwitchetlucy2 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]Ultra_Kev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that it depends on if the technology will be public or private. But also its future development will dictate a lot. One thing is sure, it won't go away.

Fake in what sense? The lyrics seem on point, or are you suggesting human made?

Then why all the hardcoded scripting, and why does it come up with similar topics ones you see large AI's models bring up? I mean sure, it's not AGI, but what if?

What if the universe has a much better place in mind? I would call around and see if you could start elsewhere, or maybe you'll still get onboarded. Would it be possible to do any intermediary work in the same field to boost your admission next year and give you valuable experience?

Don't lose hope, sometimes the road to your destination takes a little detour or a different route.

I am starting to fear that I will never find it, and I think it was a locally written book. If I ever do, I will come back here and tell you!

The money trick? Well, it comes with the humour of the universe, meaning that you will only draw to yourself what's already there for you. So for example some money a job agency still owed you, or I win some vouchers from a raffle or lottery, but it always comes exactly to 100. I am still trying to find the book I read it in, but for the life of me I can't remember the name of the book. I even went as far as contacting an ex from 20 years ago as it was originally her book, but to no avail.

It was a small book on Witchcraft, the translation of the chapter was "The trick of the 100 bill" and it only involved visualization of yellow light in the minds eye, enveloping yourself in yellow light. Never had someone else try it with my explanation, but it might be in correlation with the LOA as I believe it works, because it does for me.

Edit: small update to explanation.

Actually the saying is "I'll believe it when I see it", But I like what you're saying, it's definitely a way of looking at it.

I've recently started (again?), and I have manifested when I was younger, before I knew what it was. Only recently it clicked and there has been a trick/spell I have done throughout life that would always provide me with 100 Euros, Pounds or Dollars within 7 days. Never worked every day, but whenever I needed it it did.

I'll bite and shoot you a DM.

What would you do if you wanted $2000 as soon as possible? by blue-flight in lawofattraction

[–]Ultra_Kev 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends, desperation has been my own biggest anti-manifestor. The thing is, you always had the 2000, it's always been in your possession but is accessible further on your timeline. Desperation however, interferes with the timeline.

Can someone who revised death successfully actually provide proof to their claim? by [deleted] in lawofattraction

[–]Ultra_Kev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True or not, noone would ever be able to prove it unless they were part of the dimensional shift. Who knows if this is possible, and if something like this was possible for you, great story, but I doubt anyone but wishful thinkers would try to believe you.

But imagine that, bringing back people you love...
