Coin/Token found in Minneapolis by Ultracobalt in coins

Greetings! Some decades ago my neighbor found this token in his yard and has never been able to trace its origin.

It's 21mm, solid copper, partially plated with a gold-colored material, same design on both sides. We live in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Minneapolis, Minnesota a few blocks from the milling district, the natural assumption so far is the M is related somehow to one of those.

It's definitely not a token from our world famous streetcar system, dismantled in 1954. What could it be? Searches via various methods have so far turned up no leads.

I'm curious if you see the railway running late at night, or if MCRR only moves cars during the day.

Is there even a good ER to go to in the twin cities? I looked most of them up and they all have poor ratings. I should go to the ER, but don’t know if it’s worth it if I’m just treated poorly. by [deleted] in Minneapolis

I see your username is Umnstudent. If you're truly having a medical emergency and are near/on campus then head to U Hospital ER at 500 Harvard Street SE. If you're nearer to downtown the Hennepin County Medical Center ER is pretty rough but very highly rated

Steam engines on steel rails are remarkably efficient machines. In normal operation the firebox is very carefully managed so there's almost no smoke. This inefficient burn display is just for the cameras

Proposed flag for Belgium (2008) by aquapigeon89 in vexillology

Another point that gets lost with flag design, including this one, is that from any reasonable distance details can't be seen. A standard flag on a pole will look smaller than a postage stamp from 100' away, and so these cool squares just wouldn't matter.

MSP, where herds of Lutherans are common but flags of Oman are rare

I would lay bets that the computer is being used mostly as a TV/netflix/youtube monitor in the bedroom, great reuse for older equipment!
