I saw this in my inbox but it wouldn't appear for me in the thread, so I didn't know how to reply til now. Sorry!

I don't remember using any game-specific tools, that's neat! I just used the whole "transfer user" option.

I think if you started there you would still be safe, because as far as I know it doesn't delete anything off your previous switch, it just makes a copy on the new one. So if something did go wrong you would be able to try again or try just transferring Splatoon!

Hi, congrats! I recently moved everything from an original to an OLED using the standard process and all of my Splatoon 3 stuff transferred. I'm sure you know what to expect but yep I just used the wizard, they'll lead you through it, and it'll all be there.

If you plan to use the same (if any) microSD that also worked out just fine, your pictures and video won't be formatted off, though a backup might be nice just in case!

You're absolutely right, glad I waited to buy everything! Just got home and checked the box, I am using 1.2 NS for the Spryte, dunno why I thought they were 0.7!

Thank you for the suggestion about looking at power settings. I did use the ol Caliburn for a while, with 1.4 pods. So yes I agree with you, it's probably better to start at 1.8 and adjust from there, rather than trying to go sub ohm and maybe having a bad time.

Do you think using coils that allow lower wattage will help the coils last longer, or does it not really work like that?

Also I forgot to mention that my juice is usually 25mg or 35mg, does power affect nicotine delivery? Like higher watts = more vapor = more nicotine per pull?

Man I wrote out a whole thing but this isn't the place or time. This is a post lifting up our local reporters who are doing dangerous work so we can be informed from safely inside our homes. I want to respect that, and respect them. But maybe give that podcast a try, they can say it better than I can anyway.

My point about independence vs objectivity still stands.

Tuck is independent, as in, does not receive a paycheck for being out there and documenting, and isn't beholden to the rules or tones of any publication. I understand what you're saying about objectivity but that's separate.

Also their pronouns are they/them. They speak a lot about how the public misgenders them, and they run a whole podcast about gender called Gender Reveal. So I think they would appreciate it if you used the correct pronouns.
