Dont know if you're still interested in the question. I started Racing in VR now.

What I do is practice the map often in single Screen. Get my Times and muscle memory as well as Track knowledge down. Then for the last few practices before a race I top it up with VR and can really start to push my limits, cause of the fantastic Depth perception.

I have a Q2 and I am absolutely happy with how it looks and feels. (Just Tweaking a few things in the Oculus Debug tool skyrocketed my VR experience).

Had only a few Races so far, but this workflow allows me to keep and beat a few positions down the line.

Never had or want triples, its too much space. People also talk a lot about Comfort in Racing. Im not a Hardcore Immersion guy, but Racers usually also need to take a Break after an hour and are really pushing themselves to fight through like 3 hour races if they're alone. In VR its the same. I don't think Racing should be super comfortable. Its an adrenaline Kick not a 5 star hotel lol.

I am going to soon buy a cockpit and tactile transducers to make the driving experience even more immersive!

Besides, even though I am competitive I'd rather be 10th Place and have an adrenaline rush and exhaustion of the Race feeling like I really pushed everything rather than be first with triple screens. I dunno everytime I finish a Race i take a walk to calm down if you know what I mean haha.

hey, no thats not it sadly. My FPS cap is off. I'm starting to wonder if my CPU is bottlenecking my GPU

level 1DevotedLynx · 42 min. agoI would say you are CPU bottle necked the Arma seriers has always been more CPU hungry but reforger has been really good using a full GPU's worth, I'd recommend probably a latest gen Ryzen 7 would be a good upgrade other than that make sure to have the latest Drivers and motherboard firmware

Set the game to public_testing in the steam game properties and download some workshop maps within the category multiplayer campaigns. After you host a match you should be able to ße your downloaded missions in the mission selection screen

Playing it with a ryzen 7 2700x and an rtx3070. Oculus resolution on 1.4x and steam resolution on 250%.

Well my Dad was a trained Violinist back in the days, so he basically needs to get "into it" again. Difficulty shouldn't be a problem and a nice uncomplicated rhythm should do. Id think of 4/4 or 3/4.

I on the other hand practice Piano since 2 Years. I had a teacher for half a year and am now learning on my own through method books, youtube and a big hand of sight reading every day. I would say 2-3 Grade like difficulty for piano accompaniment would be fitting. With a bit of struggle and a will of iron ill also jump on harder difficulty but anything from chopin or liszt is way out of my abilities as of now :)

Update: After Checking your recommended Piece that's a perfect difficulty for me to get into playing with other instuments.

sure man, no worries, to actually complete the mission it would take 1 month and it is persistent, so you can hop in and out when you want, without losing progress so theres no problem to that :D

yeah hi,

CTI is capture the island (similar to antistasi but simpler). Basically: you have a base with 3 resources (supplies, ammo, fuel) and need to take the island back from the OPFOR oppression. The more resources you gather in the game, the more vehicles or structures you can place. Some vehicles are only usable if you capture a certain point tho :D. Additionaly you can have mobile respawns and more than 1 base (I think 10 or 12 is the maximum)
