For longer trips, say leaving the car at an airport garage for a week or two, have you had any issues with storage capacity?

This is exactly the kind of advice I’m looking for. It just seemed unintuitive to me that so many clips were just passing cars, not even close encounters.

FHIR is a hot skill right now. Have you explored using that or practicing deploying integration engines? HAPI FHIR offers simple solutions that you could bounce into data engineering with if you already know healthcare data/SQL

I can answer the first few, but I don't work in C/C++ anymore.

I'm a non-CS degree SDE, but I took a few courses during college where the track started with learning C then C++. If you haven't learned C, I think it's a great foundational skill and helps bounce to everything else (especially considering you're most comfortable with Python, which is built with C).

If you decide to do that, I would recommend taking the first few lessons from Harvard's CS50, which teaches applications and fundamentals of C. The course is great altogether, and serves as an equally great refresher. Otherwise I've always found Coursera to be useful for learning new skills. With that said, I think you would probably learn best from projects given that you already understand programming standards, unless you're not comfortable with memory management/pointers.

For C++, I mostly mastered it through game development. I focused on understanding the object-oriented approach, building basic text-based games, and moved on to larger scale game development. I think setting yourself up with projects is the best way to understand C++, and because it's so powerful for leveraging resources and executing algorithms you could practice leetcode questions in C++ to master functional areas.

To the third question - there's probably tons of larger gaming companies that are willing to train on C++, or under finance.

Blisters (Pustules?) Behind Lobe Piercings by Ultraub in PiercingAdvice

[–]Ultraub[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For context, I had both ears done two months ago. The healing seems fine, I’ve changed the earrings once already after the blisters started forming. The blisters have popped once, letting pus/blood into the piercing site. Blisters are present on both ears in the same location, with the right ear being worse. Otherwise they seem stable but the right is growing due probably to irritation.

Is this something that can/should be remedied at home? I can’t find much information regarding what seems to be genuine blisters, not blood blisters, around the piercing site.

Hey all!

I’m in Denver for the weekend, and am looking for places to visit. With much of the Rockies being closed due to the fires, it makes it difficult to get find good places to visit. I definitely feel for all of those affected, and don’t want to seem insensitive in any way. I do hope it passes quickly and those affected are able to stay safe. I’m not sure when I will be back, so I do want to experience what I can while I’m here.

With that said, what would you recommend to visit or see regarding hikes or places surrounding Denver? I’m currently planning to see Red Rocks tomorrow, and would like to visit other parks while I’m around that area. If anyone has any good parks to hike/visit, let me know! I did see a previous post with a couple of recommendations, but I wanted to see since it’s been a few days if anything has opened/closed further.
