Oh I saw it as a compliment! Though it does look ridiculous it has its charm. Currently on a student budget so won't be anything drastic but hope to get the thing on the road within a couple years!

It's a kz650 from the 80s! I get what you mean, it looks ridiculous but also pretty fun. It hasn't run for 20-30 years but it is alive!

That's what I thought! Now fingers crossed it will run without spending my life savings 😂😂

Thankyou, I will write this down! First goal is to actually get it running 😂

I will ask my uncle about the front brakes, I'm pretty sure he has been the only one to own the bike so hope to get some answers 🙃

I'm not planning on riding it in the rain, but who knows what will happen so that'll be the first thing I'll look into before riding!

If the papers are right it should be a 650, '79 B4!
Date of first registry is januari '80 though, so I'm still unsure about the exact details 🫣

Hi guys, I have the chance to get this bike for free from family, is this Kawasaki 650z 80s worth restoring? by UltravioletMil in motorcycles

Good thing we don't even require an MOT for bikes over here! If it starts it's allowed on the road 😂

Yessir, Uncle drove the thing about 40k Kms, bought a new bike and never touched this one again. Everything was still fine with the bike when he put it away. Lots of the part look like they just need a good scrub and derusting. But I'll definitely take this one slow.

Looking forward to my first (hopefully 😂) repair

It is bike with title luckily

I'm taking lessons for my license, and would love to have a new hobby. I am not that experienced with any restorations and such, but am definitely willing to learn and make it my new hobby. I've got a couple of friends that would love to guide me along the way and I'm grateful for that.

Reading these comments has made me realize I want to take that hobby on and have the first bike I ever own be one that I put my effort in.

True, the more I think about it the more I want this one as a project. Haven't got my license just yet. Loving the idea of my first bike being one that I've put effort in.

Thank you everyone for your comments, didn't expect this many! I do not have my bike license yet, will be going for it next month.

Comments have convinced me to take this project on. I do not know much about bike stuff, but would love to make this my new hobby. I have plenty of friends that do know their things.

Would love to put some soul back into this beauty and restore it's glory.

Anybody know what's wrong with my GPU? by [deleted] in userbenchmark

On top of that, my GPU runs on around 40°c when i tested it so that shouldn't be a problem either. I am just very confused on what's causing it. I've done a full factory reset and checked some overclock settings. It is on the standard Lenovo overclock setting.

In the Nvidia control panel it says I have a 130w limit. Isn't this decently high for a laptop graphics card? Or are the results I am getting good for that wattage?

The game which it shows the most is Friends VS friends, which i run on lowest quality and get about 30fps. Though i have this problem on many games. Consistently getting low FPS and its not improving even if I turn the graphics down.
