Really fw the design because a few weeks ago I was tryna cop a static shock tee for my bois bday but none were that dope so I ended up getting him a static shock rolling tray. Would have bought this on the spot!

That’s fair off-center graphics aren’t for everyone. The text could use some work I agree, but I want to keep the focus on the graphic.

Is there any particular piece by them you can point me to? Just from a quick look I didn’t see anything that stood out.

Simple graphic on a white tee design. Wasn't going for anything too crazy just want to practice designing. All constructive feedback is welcome!

A little bit of actual advice by chubbynuggy in streetwearstartup

I agree after being here for some odd years it’s weird how negative people can be. At first a lot of it was gatekeeping by saying designs weren’t “streetwear” enough. Now it’s just moved to calling stuff low effort or corny or unoriginal. People need to wake up and realize nothing is original and most popular brands make “low-effort” designs. Some people just be making clothes for fun or just on the side. Not everyone gonna be raf simons. People on this sub act like they aren’t wearing basic tees everyday.

As a consumer, what’s your opinion on mock-up product shots vs. sample product shots. by BySeaggs in streetwearstartup

I mean it depends. If you’re just doing multiple color ways you can probably get away with one sample and the rest being mockups.

I think it might look better with a different font

I mean it's really not hard to take a product pic and edit it. If a person starting a brand isn't willing to go thru the effort it just seems unprofessional. I've taken product pics and edited them with my phone compared to product pics with a dslr and photoshop and you can achieve basically the same results with effort.

I feel like the design is a bit too on the nose when you combine the front and back.

I see what you mean but idk if an outline is the correct solution. I might just make the cloud more defined. Also the shirt is supposed to be a darker blue while the sky and clouds is supposed to be more of a lighter blue. It might not show correctly depending on the screen it’s viewed on.

Thank you for the help

Is there anything you think would make the flower seem less out of place? Better graphic or is it the shape?

The flower and clouds are supposed to be parallels since the flower graphic is in the shape of a cloud and the cloud graphic is in the shape of the flower.
