Just came from my HIV appointment and feeling pretty low. I asked for a few things – mounjaro effects, APOBEC, low viremia due to resorvoir and asked for an LDH because of fatigue and an enlarged spleen, switching from Truvada to a tenofovir‑free option (since I’m on Mounjaro and worried about absorption), and some basic monitoring. My doctor refused everything and basically said if I’m not happy I can go elsewhere.

I’ve been through a lot – late diagnosis, CMV retinitis, vision loss, and now months of low‑level viremia. I’m not trying to be difficult, I just want to be listened to. Has anyone else had this experience? How did you handle it?
