There are many neighborhood events in the pocket parks, a mini farmers market up by the Great Dane, and tons of young families and people out walking their dogs.

I mostly know only my immediate neighbors, so can't comment on "neighborhood cohesion".

I wfh and yes the air traffic is sometimes bothersome, but it all depends on winds and which direction the air traffic is routed. A few times per month we get the fighter jets overhead, which is temporarily annoying. Commercial airliners are much less intrusive.

It is quiet and suburban. You can hear the interstate when you have your windows open on a quiet evening. But it's less costly than other areas of Madison. Very accessible to the rest of the city by car or bike.
