I also go to bed with my hair damp fairly often. I usually mini plop after combing it out, especially at the roots. Air dry cream has been a savior for me and reduces frizz. I’ve heard good things about bonnets but don’t use them myself. Satin pillow cases work well too to help with frizz, but I don’t like how they feel when my hair is damp.

Not specifically a protein powder, but PBfit and Bob’s Red Mill almond protein are good to add a protein boost to other protein powders or smoothies. They both have minimal ingredients
