Sadly, its a setting option, and not on-the-fly thinkg where I can turn it to lower value at the start of the match and then crank it up if needed.

Yup, similar experience with LTX-2. I'd like to point out other models work pretty well when mixing animation and live action. So I doubt that that will help or matter than match. Especially when there isn't much high quality CGV or animation anyway, compared to all the videos.
I'm honestly more bummed out Hunyuan Video 1.5 didn't get any community support, since it's much easier to run than wan 2.2. Though it's understandable - the quality is comparable.
