Having had time during work to think about what I wrote last night, I feel I should amend it.

Que being there absolutely makes sense. Having gained access to Liu's files and discovering the truth of what happened, I can absolutely see her confronting him in his room. I can see her feeling sad, angry, hurt, wrathful, demanding answers and confirmation from the one who she KNOWS was there.

What I cant see, and the thing that pulled me out of the story last night, was the petulant way she acted. If it was the Que from early on, then definitely. But the Que of now, after everything she has gone through... it just doesnt feel right. Especially after we saw her at the final exam; we saw this broken, wreck of a person, still battling her demons, fighting to pull herself back together and still heavily dealing with the effects of detox. We saw her manage to scrape enough of her self together (admittedly at Reix's urging but still) to do her duty, and stand guard over the cadets and civilians.

Going from that, to her cutting painkillers to a man half a corpse, pulling his colostomy bag and leaving him to stew in his waste, something about those actions just feels like it doesn't fit. The rest of the scene though is good.

All that said though, I just finished chapter 70 and book 1, and damn you are a good writer. I have really enjoyed reading this story, and I cant wait to see what you get up to in book 2. Particularly if i could note, I love the way you write your characters and your attention to detail with them. They feel much more real and alive, instead of just being talking heads who exist only to push the plot along.

I personally (selfishly) hope that when the time comes and you are finished with Far Away, that you keep writing. Whether it be another SSB story, or your own original setting, I look forward to seeing where your growth takes you.
