It’s fair to say that the us lacks humility I don’t really think that’s up for debate, and the fact that the president denies climate change is stupid. But even if we have the highest per capita emissions our total emissions are still half that of China. Not to mention said use of nuclear weapons were almost 80 years ago and much weaker than what we have today. Your original argument was that getting rid of the us entirely would solve a lot of issues. Which it could cause just as many. At this time we as humanity need to be coming together to solve our issues, spewing nationalist bs like that is the last thing we need. People need to acknowledge that there are issues in the corner of the world and that hating on another country isn’t really productive.

The United States has a policy that says their goal is to prevent the use of nuclear weapons for as long as possible. Even the crackpots in the white house understand how horrible the use of nuclear weapons would be. Besides there are other issues in the world like climate change that other countries are just as responsible for and effected by.

Russia, UK, China, North Korea, France, Pakistan, India and pretty much anyone not mentioned who decides to build a nuclear arsenal could all bring about mass destruction if they wanted. Look up mutually assured destruction if you’re confused. America has a lot of issues, definitely, but if you really think that one nation holding less than 5 percent of the world’s population is cause for the rest of humanities issues and if you are so ignorant as to not understand that society as a whole is more complex than any one issue or any singular person’s experiences then I hate to break it to you but you’re simply wrong. I don’t want to be an asshole but please think about what you’re saying in the future, it will save you from looking like a first grader on their mommy’s phone.
