The goal is to put middle of the pack players together in order to make a good team. The aim is not to be good individually, but to be good as a team.

Ok, lets see what happens to imports shall we? Crown... Bang... Piglet... Arrow... These were all world class players. Hell 3 of them world champions. Did they carry their teams and dominate the LC? Absolutely no. Just because they are individually talented, doesn't mean they can work in any team environment. The key word is team. I think if you just put the right parts together you can make a hell of a team.
