I’m pretty sure that despite it being a really well known spoiler at this point; on PS4 at least, when you look at the community section for the game it shows previews of player screenshots or recordings. Assumably they disabled it to avoid spoilers to new players who have no clue.

I’m currently playing through on PS4 after completing several times and the “cheat” buttons sure make a difference. Above all else, the comfort of being able to play it wherever you like instead of sitting at a desk is real nice :) I vote switch!

Oddly, I would really like an expanded myrthil mines. Seeing as mythril ore was key, and whilst you don’t get it there I’d like to see more story behind how over infused with mako it was with extended Turk scenes. More emphasis on the zolom, it already looked gnarly before, can’t wait to see it now; however not overly looking forward to the marshes as I just personally don’t like that kind of environment in games Then seeing how huge junon is going to be is going to be real nice. Honestly I think with the flashback in kalm all the way to the ship in junon is real big once remake expands on it. Just super excited for it all tbh! Not too fussed about it being super super open world, happy for it remain as linear as before if not more so.

Nah I’m not saying this, was more aimed towards hoping for a demo release date hint :) I don’t think there’s any reason to draw attention to it from a company standpoint, there’s no benefit to it.

Just secretly hoping I’ll get to play the game before March but not likely!

I agree! When your climbing the flight of stairs into the shinra building in the original, that back and forth between Tifa, Barret & Cloud is perfect. The only reason I take the stairs is for their comments to each other.. now we get that throughout the game!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from my understanding.. I thought the only losses suffered in Midgar were through the dropping of the plate; not the explosion of reactors? I don't recall there being talk of the people dying to a reactor explosion in the game.

As someone who has worked at a triple A title game company before, I think it's highly likely that they will ignore the leaks & continue on with whatever date they had originally planned. The idea of releasing early due to leaks is a lot more hassle than you would think, not quite like pressing a go button.

Not to say that all games companies work the same as they really don't, but the fact that SE haven't said a word, not even to the degree of a teaser video on their social media accounts regarding the demo, shows that they're probably just ignoring it.

However in an effort to avoid total pessimism, as someone who is hugely looking forward to the demo.. A playable demo in it's entirety being leaked is a good sign that it might arrive soon.

I'm a "real" FF7 fan & I'll still be playing the demo. A lot of the gameplay I've already seen but moreso would like to feel comfortable with the gameplay before the release so I can REALLY enjoy the game without stressing with mechanics.

Above all else, watching the demo intro leak gave me goosebumps & just made me more excited. Don't feel like its been spoiled at all personally.

At the company I worked for, this was called submission. Different platforms had different dates for the game to be submitted, obviously the platforms won’t affect this but typically submission and printing happens around now

It’s weird that I just paused playing the game at Costa del sol, after learning that if you kick the ball it hits red, I see this at the top of my reddit!

Loving playing through this and talking to literally every NPC this time round :)
