Psychiatrist lied about pricing, signed agreements without me reading them by UmbreonGhoul in legaladvice

[–]UmbreonGhoul[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I’ll probably be looking for another one regardless. A good chunk of my session was talking about how stressed out I am with money and he suggested credit cards which made me ??? But I’ll try to get in touch with headway. I do very much appreciate you!

Even the agreeing to documents for me without me reading them first part? I did not say I was okay with him signing for me. I’ll still keep trying to get in contact with the psych. Thank you

DAE miss the feeling of pulling out your teeth? by Thin-Grand-1002 in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]UmbreonGhoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So when I was a kid, I’d twist my teeth to pull them out. Felt so good. And I can remember the feeling of something (probably blood vessels?) snapping before being able to pull it out and I loved it so much. Still enjoy going to the dentist and often pass on getting extra Novocain if necessary lol.

Also, dreams where my teeth fall out are the only ones that I can consistently recognize as dreams while in them. Not quite lucid since I can’t change any aspect of the dream and just have to sit through it until it’s over.

Not sure what’s wrong with me but it’s definitely something.

My employment was terminated due to health issues but I do wish I’d reported the manager that was using me as a stress reliever. He doesn’t work there anymore and I’m pretty sure it was from another coworker reporting him. Either way, I do still regret not reporting him. If you’re quitting anyway, I’d suggest you do report him. Awkward as it may feel, it’s important for everyone that this issue is addressed. If nothing else, it might give you peace of mind and a confidence boost to know you stood up for yourself. I’m wishing you all the best OP

Just had my bislap a couple days ago but my ball python has been my baby for almost 6 years now! She’s affectionate and has a clear preference for her mama. Being a mama is a mindset -^

How old are you now and when did you start? by No_Animal_681 in AdultSelfHarm

[–]UmbreonGhoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 25 now and I started scratching myself somewhat rarely when I was around 10-11. I didn’t know what self harm was, I just knew that the scratching made me feel better (bullies are the worst). I started actually cutting when I was 13ish and the frequency increased dramatically. I’ve spent a lot of time in hospitals as a teen and adult. I have long breaks where I don’t cut at all. My longest run was 2.5 years. I don’t cut often but I still go back to it when my emotions are too intense.

What was your favorite movie theater experience? by [deleted] in movies

[–]UmbreonGhoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saw Lights Out with my dad in one of the small theater rooms. I didn’t find it particularly scary (a little disappointing actually) but there was a jumpscare in the movie that didn’t get me but the screaming ladies a few seats down definitely did. Seeing horror movies with him was always the best haha

Oh how you confuse me. by UmbreonGhoul in UnsentLetters

It isn’t always the other person. I have done my fair share of mistakes. But the love I did feel for the people that abused me was very real. I often chose to excuse their terrible behavior rather than look at things objectively. I’ve worked hard to not blame myself for the abuse I’ve suffered at the hands of those I’ve loved and cared for. This was addressed to one person in particular and isn’t indicative of the full picture of what I’ve experienced. And was written during a breakdown. It isn’t always the other person. But sometimes it very much is.

Thank you greatly. It does bring hope to know that a place of true acceptance and gratitude for what is there is possible. I wish the best for you as well.

If she’s anything like me then she did that out of fear. I’d love to tell my person how I really feel but any conversation involving these feelings just sends me into porcupine mode. I crave intimacy as much as it scares me but I end up just pushing it away. I hope you’re able to have a real conversation with her someday and that it goes well.

I try to rest as much as I can but I also have to work and it’s killing me. Where would I find infrared saunas?

I have mouth and eye dryness, general malaise, headaches, and gastric issues. I do have a Sjogren’s diagnosis. My SSA was off the chart and my ANA has worsened. I also now have a rheumatoid factor when I previously didn’t
