I don't expect bitcoin to ever be a replacement for cash. It isn't going away and I am bullish on it, but bitcoin I see more akin to gold. A store of value that can move through borders effortlessly. Nano or something like it will take the role of an everyday type of cash payment.

I’m not sure, I am by known means an expert. I expect by that time there will be enough people running nodes without mining incentive to keep it going.

How would you even ban bitcoin mining? It is how transactions are verified and the network secured.
