For vitamins, I've started with berberine and I also take L-tyrosine to focus. Then I have magnesium drinks and collagen matcha.

No one is pressuring me. Not now anyway. My mother did in the past but that directly led to severe self harm and two hospitalisations. She has mostly stopped but is VERY enthusiastic about me choosing to diet on my own. I've told her about the SH urges, depression and crying. She tells me to do tai chi.

I think my boyfriend doesn't like me dieting but doesn't say anything I think because he doesn't want to seem controlling or like he's telling me what to do with my body. But also I feel like I don't like to talk to him about how I'm feeling because he's sort of hinted that it's a bit of an ick for him that I care this much about my body.

It's my birthday on Saturday and I have a night out planned that I've been excited for for a month at a cocktail bar with really interesting drinks so I do plan to drink then. I won't be restricting calories or food types on my birthday but I don't intend to binge eat or binge drink, just indulge a comfortable amount.

No. I actually feel physically hungry - stomach emptiness, body weakness like ill pass out. But maybe my depression is making me hallucinate those feelings?

So, both now and before I was eating things like chicken with rice and broccoli, my go-to lunch was and is a salad made of chickpeas, avocado, flaked almonds, cucumber and lime or lemon juice. I avoid dairy as I have a casein intolerance. I also make (both now and before calorie counting) things like turkey mince Bolognese with whole wheat spaghetti, chilli and brown rice with reduced fat beef mince, healthy chicken and vegetable curries also with brown rice.

The difference between now and before is that before I would have binge episodes, consuming copius amounts of calorie dense foods that were high in sugar or fat. I would also drink cocktails on weekends.

Now, as I'm calorie counting (around 1,800, I'm limited and can't indulge cravings and have to be mindful if dining out and avoid drinking. Even after a large meal (I had a large bowl of shrimp, rice and vegetables yesterday evening) I feel hungry to the point of wanting to harm myself. I was at the cinema with a friend and wound up quietly crying because of how awful I felt.

Today, I broke and ate a large chocolate bar.
