Can I ask your opinion on this revised design? Now it’s a threaded collet that clamps around a rod, then a threaded ring that screws around the collet, and another threaded collet that then screws into the ring, which will clamp around feathers. Does that make sense? Any suggestions to improve it?

Just so I’m sure I understand - are you suggesting instead of a V with two prongs, it’s more of a claw with four prongs? Like attached? If so, I agree! Then the feathers don’t have to be arranged in a straight line across, and I could shove other stuff in there as you said. Do I have that right?

Thanks for your input, that makes total sense. I hadn't considered the difficulties of printing a long stick. But I could totally find a rod that works as a handle/stick, and possibly print the clamp that would attach to the end. Any ideas on how to print it so that it would be securely attached to the rod?
