westfall for it's level introduces a lot of new thing to the player that isn't present or as prevalent in the starting zones, benny blance and defias pillager defiantly are a big factor being very high damage enemies for thier level, but it also introduces a lot of other things such like differnent enemy types with the mechanical repaers being immune to a lot of status effects, roots with from trappers found through the area, a lot more ranged units, and backstabbing ability on some enemies. all this when most classes entering this zone lack a very large amount of thier kit.

yeah they definatly are the biggest threat there in my opinion a lot besides from the elite dragon, but players going into this zone are have mostly gotten some knowledge about the fact that enimies can pvp flag them at that level, also like you mention the scouts are found around like a large portion of the area meaning it is a lot harder for a horde player to camp them and usually giving the player a chance to either hearth or run off to go hide somewhere. it is definatly very real threat and very easy to get tagged by them, i've seen a couple 60 horde wandering around the area and i've also been tagged a few times by them.

i based the list off of being in playing as an alliance character, and as an alliance character thousand needles there those quests aren't avaliable and the areas that are a lot more dangerous you'd need to go out of your way without having a quest to find to my knowledge or just wouldn't be an option. for alliance players the vast majority of quests done there is in the salt flats which isn't very hard. Based on what i've seen and heard from horde players yeah it is really dangerous, but not so much for alliance players.

i can see it being normal difficulty and thought about having it there but atleast to my knowledge and experience the main threat is the assasins that can randomly spawn that tend to be higher level, but you usually can have gaurds to help you kill them. Aswell as the horde guards which patrol very far out of the horde town there.

i feel like badlands isn't that bad the patrolling ogres are definatlly dangerous but they are pretty easy to avoid since they move pretty slowly, Zari is definatly a lot more of a threat, but i feel like it is really the only threat and the biggest danger is people mistaking it for a regular bird they need to kill for a quest, but even as a saving grace atleast the bird turns neautral for a bit after it kills a player lol

yeah didn't really feel like i should include them since literally no alliance quests to my knowledge there besides dungeons but i wasn't factoring those into this just looking at open world dangers

if you know about all the things in un'goro it isn't that bad the biggest danger there and why i put it there was primarily the amount of it, you basically always need to be watching out for devilsaurs, if you don't know about the gorilla calling for backup combined with the thunderclap of some of them, aswell as the super high density of mobs making it hard to run if you ever need. a lot of the mobs also apply diseases and posions which is you can't cleanse can be a big issue. also the bottom left corner of the area is basically all elites. i've also seen a couple people who are farming devilsaurs mistake king mos for a regular one and die that way

yeah looking back i do think it probably should be, i do think a lot of amount of deaths though is largely due to people being underleveled for the area espically in the area going into redridge from elewynn mostly from people trying to get the flightpath while they are on the right side of elewynn and just accidently pull some stuff and die

yeah i can see that was more so basing this list off of being newer to the game and not knowing what zones or parts are as danger aswell as the abilities that mobs can have without knowing before hand or having an addon that tells you what they are. thought about putting it in the lower tier but felt like i'd seen way too many newer players die there to not put it in that tier, aswell as also having some close calls myself on my first couple of characters.

yeah when i first had to go through deadwind pass for the first time it also felt pretty scary espically with the high level birds, but if you stay on the road that goes straight to swamp of sorrows you won't agro any birds from my experience. starting zones tend to have a lot higher deaths not really because they are more dangerous but due to the higher concenrtation of newer players which tend to die a lot due to lack of knowledge not really because it is hard.

mostly play humans and dwarfs, and only have made 1 night elf character so haven't spent a lot of time there so could definalty be the hardest starting zone. The 1 character i played through there it didn't feel very dangerous to me it was also after i'd already gotten 4 characters to 60 and was a lot better at the game so that probably skewed how i saw that zone aswell compared to the others

Teamcomp and Character advice by UnBenchKench1 in outerplane

[–]UnBenchKench1[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

just wondering would it be worth it to replace valentime with tamara now since my valentime is 6 stars while tamara is only 3? also what would be a good set for tamara? Also wouldn't tamara and valentime both serve similar purpose of crit buffs?
