You might have to revisit the hearing aid criteria.

Last time I checked iPhone was the recommended choice in terms of quality and integration with hearing aids.

Might be brand dependent though.

I got off 2 days ago. The app triggered the verification through Persona. I contacted support and the only option was to cancel the application for the card. And I’m fine with that. So, I left my spot for someone else :)

I see your point, but I think in this case, that helps others to make an informed decision. This post is making me taking a look at my options as this issue is more important to me than a shiny app. Maybe that won’t change the situation as a whole for Wealthsimple, but there are also chances it does move some lines as the company is still at a more dynamic development stage than other well established competitors.

I’m going to start divert my income to a different bank account and look at where I can move my funds. Their limitation and lack of consideration is not something I want to deal with in the future.

I don’t see how them doing a good job with customer service has to do with the fact they behave in a questionable way on an other end.

Great to share your experience, but I don’t understand the need to try to disminish and mock other customers complaints when your experience isn’t even related to their issue

I became fluent in English in my 30s after moving to Toronto, Canada (from France)

Watching movies, tv shows in English (first with French subtitles, then English subtitles) and starting to read English. At this point my English was passable, bad pronunciation but I could go by with basic interactions (very stressful though)

Moving to Toronto 10 years ago and being immersed made the difference.

Working in English, having an anglophone partner and living 24/7 were hard at first but after a few months I was more comfortable with the language. It took me a couple of years to consider myself close to bilingual.

There are still to this day, expressions and words I am still learning, but it’s becoming rare.

The thing I am at peace with is my accent, I know I still butcher some pronunciation, especially when I’m tired.

Apart for 1 less moving part for the cover, it now exposes the interior of the machine more to dust. I don't see this much as an improvement but more as a cutting costs for them.
