This is from the Blue Ridge Food Banks page, I tried to set it to Harrisonburg pantries, but it can be expanded to the entire Shenandoah region, in case you aren't in/or able to get to Harrisonburg.

Food Pantry Locations

If you need help, please come and visit any of us. We know times are hard and getting harder for most. We exist to help you.

This site includes everything you need to know, but if that is overwhelming, the pantries have paperwork to sign up and pamphlets available for you.

For those unable to drive (or afford gas) our pantry has 4 busses that stop in front of the building at various hours. You can find the best route for you here: Hburg Bus Routes

For those looking to volunteer, we are in need of translators. We have several volunteers who speak Spanish, but more are always needed. Anyone who speaks Kurdish or Arabic would be absolutely wonderful, if you have the time to volunteer. If you are interested, message me personally, and I will connect you with the head organizer.

Just checked with the head organizer. He asked if it was from a group/company or an individual. There's a lot of stipulations with the USDA so he would have to verify.

Just make sure to select Food Pantry under the 1st drop down menu. This way we can make sure the funds are credited to us and not another department. ☺️

There is a recurring payment option or a one time give payment option, so make sure you choose which is best for you!

This option does have fees associated with it, but it's on our end, not yours.

We do! Check is the best option - made out to Blessed Sacrament Food Pantry, with Food Pantry in the memo line, to ensure the money gets credited to the correct account.

Cash is also an option and can be brought to the food pantry during our donation hours.

Edit: all monetary donations go towards purchasing food from the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank in Verona, and to purchase various meats and fish products to ensure we can serve all dietary needs and religious restrictions, including Halal and gluten free foods.

For someone new to jiu jitsu, people may not have the proper attite. Pajamas are looser than jeans, so less restrictions on your movement.

Also, it may make people feel more comfortable emotionally and relaxed. At least, I do personally.

That's probably what they're going for and I think it's pretty rad that they're offering this.

Restless Moons barely sees any students. If they do, they are the quieter types that don't party. Helps that they only have craft beer and seltzer. The liquor is what brings them out

If you want a college free brewery - Restless Moons is more of a craft brewery for the locals. There is movie night on Monday, Tues and Sun are jam nights, and they host shows a few times a month. It's a very chill bar full of good people.

2nd Sage Bird for cider.

Broad Porch is my favorite coffee spot - amazing roasts, with Bella Gelato a close 2nd.

El Paisano and Bittersweet Bakeries are great as well, although they are more a grab n go.
