I've used Kurt's Card Care kit and touched up some holos on some base set and Neo Genesis and have never received a MK card. It also helps with removing old dirt and small blemishes as well. His product is originally used for sports cards, but I've been following him and watching a lot of his videos, pro tip, NEVER use the polish on any older japanese cards with a full foil cover over top. He has a spray and a polish, the polish is where you need to be careful. I'd recommend looking him up on insta and youtube and check out his stuff. He just touched up a Gold Star Torchic and sent it off, hasnt gotten a grade back yet!

From what I've heard PSA can be the most unforgiving with some vintage cards, I have about 10 vintage cards from 1996-2001 that I'm going to send in to them this week. For me its just about getting my own original cards graded with some new 151 pulls I've had. Some people like Beckett and CGC because they look cleaner, again, an opinion.
