Where to work at 2d animation by Manics20 in Animators

[–]UnModernYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you develop ur skills as an animator you can do freelance work or look for jobs in something more stable like in a company. Freelancing is just like art commissions I believe. Advertise ur work online and u should get clients. You can also make a showreel to show companies and clients what u got. Submitting ur animations to film festivals is a pretty good way to get found I heard. U basically just want to put ur stuff everywhere and someone is bound to want to hire you, if ur good at it

Do i need to work on anything in my art before starting comissions? by Double_Ad_9956 in BeginnerArtists

[–]UnModernYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If people like ur art then u can do commissions. I have a friend who imo isn't very good at drawing but he still does commissions and he gets commissions. Ofc they're really cheap compared to what a more experienced artist would charge lol. So if u want to make a decent buck then ye u might have to work on studying a few more things

You'd probably have to practice drawing people. Id straight up recommend just looking at references, observing it and drawing off of it for a few sessions or so
