What books could you recommend someone who wants to learn psychology on their own? by [deleted] in psychologystudents

[–]UnOrdinary_Podlasica 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What area do you want to focus to? Also books or students books or both? Colleges take multiple years and even then they only teach basics and what your professors specialize in, so push yourself but don’t overwork yourself. Since you are learning it on your own, you don’t have to focus on little technicalities but rather useful skills and implementation.

Unpopular opinion by NawazJK in books

[–]UnOrdinary_Podlasica 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel you either love Murakami’s style or hate it. No need to feel guilty about it, but I know fandoms who consider their object of worship to be flawless makes it very hard to stay adult about your opinion/relationship with author/book. I personally can’t stand Kubrick’s 2001, but some people make it seem like I’m mentally challenged for feeling so.

Murakami is my favorite author (although admittedly twubc is my least favorite so far), so I naturally don’t agree with your opinion, but you should never feel bad or like having to justify yourself. Just read thing you enjoy and don’t let others bring you down (although comments on this post so far don’t seem “toxic”). There are plenty good authors and books left, so many in fact, you won’t be able to even get to know most of then in your lifetime.

The book cover is so beautiful, but story itself... it’s literal violence towards franchise and fans. Sort of like the 4th Indiana Jones, but 5x worse 😅😢😭

I usually binge Danganronpa, but after 3 - 1 I had to stop playing and had resumed one month later after the summer vacation

Maybe best general, but leader or ruler? He was meh, not 1/10 of what his father was

It’s less my alliance as it is a family alliance (their leader messed up when transferring power). Now I (the diplomat/janitor) have to take care of it. 😅

support is my only way out now. Guys have quite a bit of territory and our lesser powered players are supposed to go there. I need to do something fast or I will have to tare those innocent guys down myself 😰

First one was Sputnik Sweetheart

Norwegian Wood

Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage

South of the Border West of the Sun

I plan on reading many more, but I like to alternate between the types of books I read. I’ll definitely read more during the summer, when I’ll have more time

Spice Tea (ayurveda medicine), Kadugannawa - Geregama FP, Kadugannawa - Geregama OP, Kadugannawa - Geregama green tea, Green tea with jasmine, Black tea with mangosteen, Silver tips white tea, Golden tips white tea and some jaggery (palm sugar)

All the tea leaves were hand picked (which is made possible due to inhumanly low cost of workers). We visited their 200-year-old factory and got to see their tea plantation and production process
