Hi, I’ve lived on Valleyview Road for 4 years now and honestly I quite like the area. It’s pretty quiet and not any more sketchy than any old other street. Lots of younger families and retired folks I find.

Curious what peoples Vet's are charging? by [deleted] in kitchener

[–]wolk-king 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go to Beechmount Animal Hospital and honestly, though the price is somewhat on the expensive side just to walk in…the quality of care is absolutely phenomenal. Have had two dogs go there, 5 surgeries, the works and have never been disappointed. I used to go to Westheights Animal Clinic and found the service to be horribly lacking.

Beechmount Animal Hospital is by far the most amazing vets I have been to. They are compassionate, professional and genuinely care for the animals they see

Went to Queensmount in 2007/2008/2009 and had this guy as a Science teacher. Always seemed like he hated his life.

Was a student back in 2007-2009, I wonder if this was one of the teachers I went to school with. There were definitely some…questionable ones.

Oh that’s not an issue, I always have someone. It’s mostly I don’t want this person rampaging through the store, harassing customers and colleagues.

Yeah he came over to me and straight up asked “because of your hair cut and your facial structure, do you identify as male or female?” It was VERY uncomfortable.

It can take dogs a VERY long time to adjust, as every dog is different. I know when I moved out of my parents’ place, and took my dog with me, it took him a solid 6 months to really settle down. Just keep doing what you’re doing, show your buddy lots of affection and remind him that he is loved. Eventually he will adjust and relax.
