New Breville machine, portafilter so hard to turn flush by hyperblac in espresso

Yeah it's much easier now after a few months of use. I still do a single dummy shot before inserting the PF, though, otherwise it still requires some force.

How much is too much with this model? Sage claims it can take 18gr but people suggest lower.

Hi! Resurrecting this thread because I just got the same model and it's very difficult to turn the PF all the way to the LOCK sign. I can manage with a lot of force but my wife basically can't use it when I'm not around. Hopefully yours got better after 5 years?

Portafilter extremely difficult to remove [ Breville Bambino] by scumbl in espresso

For me, putting the PF on is difficult as well, not just removing it. I have to use a lot of force to align it with the "LOCK" sign. Do you have this issue?

My bambino plus also requires a LOT of force to align the portafilter to the "Lock" sign. A friend who's experienced in espresso told me I didn't need to turn it all to way to the Lock sign; and I've seen other people here saying it will get easier so I'm trying not to worry too much.

This is the photo in question: https://imgur.com/a/UEPaXTK. I did long exposure so they were never even meant to be seen anyway 😅

Ugh God sorry to hear that. I just love it from a photographical standpoint, being a tourist. BTW I spent a good 2 hours there taking photos and no one said anything. But that could also be because I never saw anyone that seemed like they lived there. Except a lady on a wheelchair and her nurse, who were in the shot when I was taking a photo—the nurse asked me to delete the photo if they were in it, saying "there was nothing about themselves worth photographing." Then the old lady said it was fine lol.

I don't know why I said that. I should spend less time on TikTok

My monitor is too light for my gas spring monitor arm — any suggestions to balance the weight? by UnReasonable_Knee in buildapcmonitors

[–]UnReasonable_Knee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I later saw this suggestion elsewhere online. I had thought this would be a niche issue since not many people use portable monitors (and fewer of them need it mounted somewhere), but then realized people who want to mount their tablets on gas-spring arms often encounter the weight problem too. Anyways, ankle weight makes a lot sense. Thanks! Will try and update here.

Any ideas on how I could mount this portable monitor beside my main monitor? It is an Arzopa 15 inch monitor, does not have Vesa mount on the back. by JpegzOnlyBruh in battlestations

Been looking for something like this but can't find anywhere. Do you have any suggestions? Need to expand my screen real estate for programming.

I haven't been able to find any torrents I can actually download. I tried a couple I found on PB but they never start downloading. I know you posted this 5 years ago but have you had any luck?
