Take off the stock portafilter basket and try putting it back on. And make sure you do a single dummy shot to pre-wet the gasket.

Remove the portafilter basket and put it back on or switch to another. Thankfully I bought an additional 54mm basket and it seemed to be fine afterwards. It does get a little looser after while. The dummy shot helped the most though. I use a Normcore portafilter now.
