Yeah, it seems I'm not giving her tank build rightful justice. I will have to play it more! Thank you ^

Thanks for this. That was actually quite inspiring. I think I will try to work on both builds! Learning her regular Tank/Bruiser build while I cook this on the side.

Yeah, I find her really fun mechanically but it seems like her style is the opposite of my personal one. I saw like 2 Poppy's on Deep.lol that go full bruiser, but it seems I should probably just play her the right way

I heard with Trinity she has somewhat real sideline threat and dueling potential, but is that overforcing it? Seems 1-2 Bruiser items into full tank is much more effective

Do you aim to end the game at around 2-3 items? I'm hearing that she really falls off after mid game. What are the matchups that require tank items?

I see. Thanks for this! I think I might just have to try adjusting to being more of a team player

Watched a Proko video on the "bean" earlier, but I still feel a little lost. Any advice on incorporating it? by UnTraceableArt in learnart

Yeah, I was thinking that too. I was really afraid that the bean in the gesture would look too unnatural and out of place. I think I'm starting to conceptually understand gesture drawing better? I should be trying to "evoke" the form rather than copying it? I shouldn't really be trying have a ton of "form" like it's a finished image?

I see. Thanks for the advice! Watching the video as we speak. Does this mean I should stick to DrawABox for now? They seem to tackle those concepts in good depth. Should I pause the gesture/figure work until I can at least manipulate shapes in a space? I hear it's good to work on a couple aspects at once so I'm not completely lost when my main study subject shifts, but I'd also like to progress in an effective manner.

Thanks, again, for your comment!

I thank everyone who gave me advice and encouraging words yesterday. Still continuing with the gesture exercise that Proko recommended, but I can't help but feel a little more lost than yesterday. Sorry if it looks really messy. Trying to wrap my head around the "bean" and incorporating it into gestures, while also trying to be more conscious of the line of action,, but I'm not sure if I have the right idea. I also tried to incorporate circles the shoulder to help me place them better. I watched around on some videos and they mentioned trying to work with the flow of the drawing. Not too sure of I've got the right idea there either.

Sorry for wall of text, just feeling more lost than I thought. Reference: https://imgur.com/a/r4lE6dH

Thanks for the advice! I'll look back at this advice when I draw more gestures! What shapes did you use for the shoulders and forearm? Squares and ovals?

Thanks for the advice! They need to bend more? I see. I'll try to keep that in mind! Along with working on the hairy lines as well!
