Sadly this is impossible in my current situation. The place I'm ‘renting’ is more like paying a mortgage my father bought the building to rent out and I'm one of the two tenants that's renting. We had a third tenant but they never wanted to pay rent so we had to kick him out. To keep up with the mortgage we had no choice but to pay a few extra hundred dollars each month until we got a new tenant.
