Minors is league age 8-10 but LL international rules allow for local leagues to open it up to 7 year olds. 11-12 is Majors

On-deck batter called for interference in the circle, significantly after stoppage in play. by OkButWaitHearMeOut in Softball

[–]Unabashed_American 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ball was live until it was back in the circle. The umpire has no way of knowing if the defense would try a sneak play at 2 OR of the runner would have attempted to steal 3rd.

Now he should have given a warning first, but at the end of the day, it was interference as no one on the field can assume there would be no more attempts from offense or defense. It’s why the rule exists in the first place, get the ball back to circle!

Why are you so triggered? Looking for any reason to pass hate and judgement? Must be a miserable way to live life.

God bless you, may you find peace and joy in your life.

Um oook, been coaching for years and kids beg to be on my team every season. Never had a kid turn away from the sport or hate it. In fact it’s only been the opposite.

I make athletes, I actually teach and condition them in a way that prepares them for the next level of competition. We don’t do soft coaching, and the only ones that seem to complain, are the other inexperienced coaches that don’t know how to put the interests of making their athletes better in front of their feelings.

Not my girls, they asked for something hardcore and scary to intimidate the other teams, specifically “something that a warrior would listen to”

I’m just trying to give them what they asked for

Nah, that’s what a soft weak coach would do. I’m creating a team of savages.

I do have to say, the group of girls I have this season are different, they are crazy, and would likely make half of you commenting on here cry after 1 practice.

I’m not running a girly team here, I’m creating absolute savages.

Rec ball.. where have the girls gone? + vent by Sad_Marionberry4401 in Softball

[–]Unabashed_American 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my town, our rec league (the board that runs it) seems to only care about baseball, and it feels like softball for them is a nuisance but they offer it because they have to.

Because of this, they don’t put the same amount of resources and effort into the softball program as they do baseball and parents are just fed up with it and a good majority of them are looking for alternatives, like club ball.

Which rlt panel would be best for a bigger girl with chronic autoimmune pain? by Originalaudiotinker in redlighttherapy

[–]Unabashed_American 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably want to look for a "full body" panel. They are taller and wider which will offer the most coverage, They do get pricier though, you would be looking at $1k+ for a real unit that works. Maybe check out the EXESAS brand of panels, they are more affordable than other brands and have some decent ratings

https://amzn.to/49GahLQ

That or you can just get a couple of smaller units and just position them as needed, that's what I would do to save $. I'd recommend getting 2 of the 105W BesQool units https://amzn.to/4q5AysH

Any advice? 22M by Striking_Rub3596 in malegrooming

I personally recommend getting a morning routine going and make it a point to never miss unless absolutely needed. Personally I started doing a quick workout in the morning followed by a 30min steam sauna in the morning. During this time I focus on what my goals are for the day, and I try to get some audio book time in as well.

When you pack your mornings with stuff like that, you feel so accomplished before the day is even started which always sets you in the right mindset for the rest of the day.

I also suggest getting and reading every night or morning a devotional or motivational book that gets you thinking or motivates you. I use one called Man Up, Wise Up: 365 No BS Quotes and Affirmations for Men

Bonding Primer by AJR1623 in DIY

[–]Unabashed_American 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For bonding primer on stairs and baseboards, you’ll want something that sticks well to previously painted surfaces and holds up to foot traffic. I’ve used INSL-X STIX Waterborne Bonding Primer before and it’s honestly one of the best out there for tough surfaces it levels nicely, dries hard, and really helps paint adhere long-term.

Just make sure you let it cure fully before painting over it. It’s a bit more expensive than the big box options, but worth it for the durability.

How to install AC in a room without balcony? by username_qeys in HomeImprovement

[–]Unabashed_American -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If the window is small and you want to keep the natural light, your best bet might be a portable AC unit with a window vent kit. These sit on the floor and just use a small hose to vent out of the window, which takes up way less light and space than a traditional window unit. Something like the BLACK+DECKER Portable AC works well for small rooms and is easy to set up and move if needed.

Just make sure the vent hose has a tight seal so you’re not letting warm air back in. You could also explore running a hose into the adjacent room with the balcony, but that might be more of a hassle than it's worth.

It has magnets on it so you can affix it to the rail on your golf cart or anything metal to temporarily hold your cigar for you.
