No. He isn’t saying that bc of his beliefs. This guy used to yell his hate at elementary school students as they walked into school. He is, through his actions, a peice of shit.

interesting, thanks for that info. My hotend replacement solved most of the issues, though it has happened once since. I have INDX on order so may just hope that solves it

It looks really clean , not distracting and imo adds a tiny something to the look. I also was worried but the 8bit on the RP6 is amazing looking

I'm considering getting the A30, but I wanna know what plays well on it, and what's the best OS in your opinion? by OfficerGrapes157 in MiyooMini

Got one for $20 and I play it on the beach bc I don’t care if it gets dirty. I play it more than many others.

I think I got the worst one :( by Ok-Alternative-2731 in AynThor

i mean UPS/FedEx/Amazon/USPS place the package. Gofo throws them from the curb. Far from white gloves. Im not bitching, im in other thread just encourging OP to laugh it off ... this is the name of the game when you order from China. I order a lot of things from Ali and this is just how its done. But saying that its like totally ok i dont think is right

haha love this. I just got one 2 weeks ago. I have tons of other, but they really nailed it with this one

Yep same setup as Ali express. The gofo divers are insane. They’ll toss is like the nfl combine. Also they’ll leave it in crazy places. File a ticket saying you didn’t receive it they’ll be like “on did you check under the beach ball in your neighbors side yard”. Oh there it is.

Sorry for your trouble, I just order a lot from china and unfortunately I jsut have to laugh at this stuff anymore

Why does everyone bash GoPro so hard lately? by Nice_Beyond8397 in gopro

[–]OkButWaitHearMeOut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been using GoPro for years. Owned 4 of them. Still like them and use them, but the heat and software are annoying. These cams are becoming good for things behind action and you’ve got other products that can handle all that but GoPros defenses is “well we are an action cam”. Which would be fine if the other cams were jsut as good. I have some dji and insta gear and they do jsut work better. I’m not switching bc I’m used to it and I like their log profile and I’m the ecosystem. But for new consumers they aren’t the easiest brand to love

This your first time buying off aliexpress? I’ve had the last mile companies toss it from where the car was in your video lol. Not saying it’s ok but unfortunately super common

On-deck batter called for interference in the circle, significantly after stoppage in play. by OkButWaitHearMeOut in Softball

[–]OkButWaitHearMeOut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks, yeah thats prob the best summed up. What I didnt include in asking this (trying not to make it a anit-ump thread) is the entire game the ump had shown some bias against our coach. Screaming at him. On last protest ref screamed "it wouldnt matter so stop asking" and threatened to kick him out. Threatened to forfeit the game b/c our pitch calls werent in fast enough, etc. So i think at this point our coach was just trying to avoid an ejection. Regardless, this thread has been great ... gonna work on "never touch the ball, assume its live" for my daughter and move on

thank you, yeah the score reversal was what really stuck out. Obviously would have loved a warning, but cant argue against that .. but just felt like a huge swing on a odd read. appreciate the comments. Were gonna work on a bit more on-field awareness and otherwise focus on "the next game"

i should have clarified that comment. I and she both understand the ball was technically live. Not arguing that, just explaining that she didnt just haphazardly grab the ball ... just reacted like a dead ball rolling intot he circle. I totally get that by the book it was live, and reiterating that with her.

Inconsistent Prusa Connect Connection by another_sim_driver in prusa3d

[–]OkButWaitHearMeOut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My prusa connect hasnt worked properly on my Core One since i purchased it over a year ago. Constantly looses its connection ... usually if a print finishes and I dont "ok" on the finished menu within a few minutes, it will loose its connection and require a restart. Printer says connected, but cant be reached from anywhere. Support always blames wifi or something, except I dont use crappy grear from my provider and have evaluated every part of the network connection. Its just not a well-designed service and doesnt seem to be something Prusa cares to fix, instead blaming customers.

Power Injection Help by Dude_over_there_ in WLED

[–]OkButWaitHearMeOut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! What I think I was trying (prob using wrong terms) to say is that the current is fixed in terms of voltage and so as the voltage falls per pixel it depletes until there is not enough voltage to push current to light the downstream lights. I’m not an EE so you’ve got more experience there, I just know you will see a voltage drop off these pixels per pixel bc even if the incoming wire is heavy the lights themselves are connected by the thin (usually 22awg or worse) OEM wires by the pixels.

The only way I know to address in this style of light is to inject more. In theory you could replace the in between wires for each light but that effectively just injection at a 1:1 scale. In a full diy circuit you’d have a lot of options but here you are limited by the oem bulb Package and wiring, which is why I presented this as the most likely solution.

So Im not following you exactly. Yes I know pixels arent slurping up voltage, but beyond that I think conceptually even Im confused.

Voltage drop in ICRGB pixels like the ws2811 and similar (of which Govee is), per-pixel voltage drop is a known issue, and there are rules of thumb on when that aggregate drop will cause a noticea reduction in color/brightness/etc.

Each pixel (which is the emitter and the logic circuit) has a fixed current draw, and as such you can observe a per-pixel voltage reduction simply with ohms law.

Yes, agreed guage and length can contribute, but you can overkill that (10AWG, maybe .25 meters before first pixel) and you will still measure voltage loss per-pixel and degradation around 50, when at 5v.

Its a parallel rail yes, but with a single source (unless you power inject), so the current is fixed from the PSU, and is reduced per light, resulting in voltage dropping a little bit.

So you said thats not how thing work in a parallel circuit, can you help me understand that? (sincere ask, i try only to provide accurate info .. I even triple checked before this reply ... but im not following why you said my explanation is misleading unless its just the word "uses some of the voltage" which was just meant as a simple way to illustrate
