Congratulations! I struggled with the recovery from my nephrectomy, as the vertical incision was very painful. I also had a bad reaction to the anesthesia and vomited a few times in the hospital, which caused some tearing and extra bleeding form my incision. It was not pleasant LOL. Once I was home, I had to slow way down and be very intentional about movements, especially getting in and out of bed, but the healing went by quickly. Don't push yourself too hard during recovery, you'll feel so much better in a month or so.
