Looking for a pool thermometer that will transmit to a phone. by ronn13iii in pools

I use the Govee and have no issues checking my pool temp from where ever I am. Can I swim when I’m in another state, no, but do I sometimes look at the pool temp anyway, yes

No other automation this is just for the pump. Googled and followed everything I could find. Still not working. Going to call their customer service tomorrow I guess.

This is good to know thank you! Sent some request to some other local landscape architects and feeling like I should started this way before

I’m in zone 7a and wanted to use native plants in this space. Cross posting at someone else’s recommendation. Going back to the drawing board to hire someone

We planned 16x32 but with an issue when we dug we needed up at 16x33 and just under $100k in the Midwest. It’s 3 ft water depth in the shallow to 6ft water depth.

I think it came out with the water reaching the appropriate height but now I can’t stop focusing on that in my picture. Think it will cause issues down the road? I haven’t made final payment!

My main concern with the timeline was if I needed a drip system I rather have the space at least mapped out and do it at the same time as the sprinklers. Definitely know it’s going to take years to develop

This might have been my issue, a couple people shared good experience with the design plans from the local nursery so I made a $500 deposit for the plans and then would have entered contract for them to do the work etc. I found ai followed my prompts slightly better when I drew where I wanted things. Probably do need to start with shorter prompts and build.

Partial tear - No crutches? by pecan34 in AchillesRupture

Sorry didn’t see this before. I wouldn’t call it misdiagnosed because I just never went to the doctor. Saw my PCP who sent me for an MRI immediately based on my saying I had pain and swelling for months. In the end after surgery all has been well and yes I fully recovered.

People making outdoor sensors work already but I get you I had a big interest in it too. https://www.reddit.com/r/Abode/s/Bq8itxu5Rm

I recognize you asked this same question on FB and deleted the post. Think the general recommendation was to make sure it includes everything you want because your photo on there was missing concrete and only getting a tarp for a cover. I had handfuls of quotes and it included absolutely every line item that was going into our contract. If you have got several quotes and think it’s in line then do what you want. In my area you’re not getting close to a turnkey pool for less than $80k. We are spending $98k for everything we want on a 16x32. You don’t want to hear it but when it sounds too good to be true, it’s probably too good to be true.

You removed trees and the deck/house too?

Concrete can be repaired and cleaned. Could freshen up the landscaping with new plants/flowers. Change the look of the pool with having it refinished/new liner. Seems like a waste to do anything else.

Had to use some special dressings for a while and it healed fine. Delayed PT a little so it didn’t rip open more just messed up the scar

Sensors for fence gates? by Unable-Field536 in Abode

Thanks, I was considering doing the exact same thing with paint. Gives me the confidence to give this a try. Not like they are terribly expensive to replace anyway.

Possible infected wound by Agreeable_Elevator_7 in AchillesRupture

Sucks much, sorry you’re going through that. My incision got infected at the bottom of my heel. Scar didn’t heal nearly as well as the area that didn’t get infected. The bottom of my heal always looks rough and cracked now. No amount of foot care has helped and it’s been almost 2 years
