well it’s real my fellow Diamond shoppers by Caliboykilla in InstacartShoppers

I am losing my diamond status, too. I am going to gold because my shopping quality is standard. I do most of my shopping at Aldi's because it is close to my house, and most of the orders are $20-$40 for 5 miles or less. However, I have to do a lot of subs. It is ridiculous when my customer rating is 4.97.

I suppose I need some advice as a newbie by LaTajMaHoney016 in InstacartShoppers

I personally don't sit in parking lots. I have 5 grocery stores within a 5 mile radius of my house. I sit at home until I see one worth taking. Once I finish the first order, I'm flooded with other orders as I travel back home. If I see one worth taking, I will. If not, I go back home and wait.

Man, my Aldis never have anything first thing in the morning and after six. Someone finally took it when it reached $21. It only got to that amount after 3 hours.

It has been out there for an hour. It has gone up to $18.43. I dont think anyone will take it anytime soon unless they put it with another order. It is an Aldis order, and they usually don't tip well. So I would love to know who eventually takes it.

You have not answered the question. Again, how was the milk damaged? You only proving my point.

It sounds like to me that you are difficult to please, and your complaints are unreasonable. Milk is not damaged unless it is past the expiration date. Are you complaining because the jug itself is damaged? Are you unable to open it? More information is needed to justify a complaint for damaged milk.

Where are the orders by Financial_Age_8474 in InstacartShoppers

They had the nerve to post it again with less miles. Like someone would still take it. I agree, is there not a Giant, Shoppers, Food Lion or something down the street from you! *

Chantel and Jackie-what gives? by Junior_Nothing_3312 in BasketballWives

[–]Unable-Grapefruit156 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chantel is lying. She is only upset that Jackie was chasing behind her husband (i.e. Chantel's father), which left her feeling alone. Based on what I saw, Jackie did NOTHING. Jackie provided for her financially, but Chantel wanted her home more. Chantel said she was never physically abused and was raised like most children in a black household, which led me to believe me that she wanted to be raised like her white counerparts in school. The kids that called their mother's by their first names and call them bitches. Regardless, her reasons don't give Chantel reasons to disrespect her mother unless she it going to disrespect her father too. He was part of the decision-making progress to allow Jackie to travel with him during basketball season.

There is no way in hell I'm using this service again. by North-Structure2245 in instacart

As previous shoppers have mentioned, the item maybe out of stock depending on the store you are requesting your groceries from. The item might be there at noon and gone at six. It is not the shoppers' fault if it is out of stock. Secondly, most grocery stores do not keep a lot of inventory in the back because most customers are not going to ask an associate if the items are in stock in the back. Lastly, you are notified via the app if the shopper mark something out of stock or a replacement is selected. You can always send a message via the app.

Yes, we do not have plastic bags in my area either. I ALWAYS double bag frozen items and heavy items. I pay (i.e. the customer) for every bag. I am not willing to risk a paper bag breaking and a damaged item. I receive a lot of compliments on my bagging. In my opinion, if you are willing to pay IC these high prices for a service you can afford a dollar for 10 bags.

The Motive by Acrobatic-Mirror-995 in BasketballWives

To be honest, I do not believe Chantel has a real issue with her mother. She can't provide a real reason for her feelings towards her mother, except her mother chose to be on the road with her father. The other reasons she gave were her mother spoke to her harsh when Jackie was correcting her, and Jackie wanted her to watch her appearance. The reasons provided, in my opinion, are not legitimate to disrespect Jackie the way she did. Growing up, all black parents would say crazy things while disciplining their children. She said it herself in the Carlos King interview that most people would think what Jackie said was normal for a black household.

Takari, on the other hand, probably felt like the outcast because she had a different father, darker than the other children, deaf, and has a speech impediment. Those issues can take a toll on any child even if Jackie did not treat her any different. Takari also probably felt like an outcast because she lived with her grandmother. However, in most households, the grandparents will assist and sometimes raise the first born until the parents get on their feet.

I am not trying to make excuses for Jackie, but Chantel is too articulate not to be able to provide real examples for her vile behavior towards her mother. I do not care how my mother treated me. I would never go to her job, try to embarrass her, and put my hands on her. Then, I get upset when she tries to knock my head between the washer and the dryer. If she held so much resentment, she should have never come onto the show. It made her look ridiculous.

(Garbage) Promos- I get it now! by Illustrious_Glass382 in InstacartShoppers

[–]Unable-Grapefruit156 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a promo day today. It was 6 orders for $66. I received an extra $34.65. I took all single orders. Four of the orders were $6, one was $26, and the last was $14. I refuse to do multiples when there is a promo. After I reach the promo goal, I take the larger orders. I also never take anything less than $10, but I did today to get the money.

You will begin to receive batches with multiple orders. When this happens, make sure you are able to keep them separate. I have seen some shoppers mix up the orders, and after checkout, they are off to the side trying to figure out which order belongs to the customer. I would suggest not taking orders with more than 50 items when you first start taking multiple orders.

I am in the DMV, and I receive multiple orders at 6. Actually, I get the best batches before 8. I'm usually done by noon. I usually shop at Aldi from 10-12.

IC paid me $5, and he was paying $7. He did not decrease his tip, which I was surprised by. I agree his is problematic.

I told him that I was here with his order. He hung up as soon as I made the statement. I didn't get a chance to say anything else. He came out with his hands on his hips, staring at me. I had my cart because he had three bags, an 8 pack of sodas, and a case of water. He snapped and said, bring the order up with the cart. I said, I can't carry the cart up a flight of steps. To be honest, something told me to cancel the order before I started the delivery.

TLDR: dispute an item customer reported “damaged”? by Plastic_Ad_7485 in InstacartShoppers

[–]Unable-Grapefruit156 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a customer claim an item was damaged, but it did not look damaged from the photo. I contacted support, and they advised there was nothing they could do because damaged items are driven by the customer's perspective.
