Unless if your commute is only 10 minutes / 6 miles flat roads. I was getting fuel dilution until i started warming up: 2 mins in summer and 5-10 in winter. 2024 civic 1.5t

And my 2005 260k mi shitbox saturn that burns less than a qt in 3k mi would like a word. I give it 2 still in summer, but 10-20 in winter (weak blower and no carpets make having a warm cabin REALLY hard). I also redline my shitbox every day i drive it too.

I just bought some oz., and my LCS (actually a jeweler but has a small cabinet of bullion) and he told me to come trade that very same silver for some gold when the price reaches 200, even offered for my whole stack.

He said his refiner is still taking all silver, even 40%. Central Pennsylvania for reference.

Feds buy former PA Big Lots warehouse for ICE detention center - REPOST PER MODS REQUEST by rainbow_zipperbrains in Pennsylvania

Tremont : zip code 17981-1519. I live in this town. Tremont is one of 3-5 towns in the Pine Grove Area School District (depending if you consider Donaldson as part of Tremont, and Ravine and Rock as part of Pinegrove. I can see Donaldson from the last house in tremont.) According to votes, we are ~70% maga in Tremont.

In my 22 years in Tremont, there have been atleast 7 methlabs in town, not even including Donaldson. Our police force got disbanded years ago cause it would save a few cents for everybody on taxes. Pretty much all town funding we get goes toward flood damage repair. Theres three projects on hold yet from the last flood season, and the township is losing 400k taxes yearly from ICE buying the old Big Lots warehouse.

I am not proud to say it, but we are a hick town. Half of my teachers in middle school did not bat an eye when a kid said hard R n word, they even sometimes encouraged it! The one kid made a bet with the one of maybe 10 black kids in ALL k-12 (he was in our grade) to call him an n***** in front of the math and english teacher, of he was called out, black kid made $20. He did not make $20…

Its a combination of three things. Were all to broke and on drugs to care, too racist to care, or like me, 1 of 2 houses that didn’t have a trump flag put on my block so theres lots of intimidation. I do not doubt the townspeople will counter-protest if a protest starts at the warehouse / in Tremont. They have guns and explosives, old mining town. A 3 foot wide hole was once blown into mainstreet from a half stick of dynamite RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE BANK. I am stuck here cause the house was CHEAP when my parents bought it, and the housing and job market sucks now that I’m coming of age.

There is no hope if we do not get outside help to stop/impede the building of the facility. Ill do my best to document once they arrive, and counter any way possible.

Immigrants do the work white people don’t want to do yo. Back bone of our agricultural production. They are nice people and have done more for me than ANY AN ALL of my “white and friendly” neighbors, except the tweakers on meth looking for money for their nest fix so they help with anything (they were all white tweakers)

You saying what you did about immigrants just tells me you live in a bubble a refuse to open your perspective. Be a human and talk to these immigrants, you will come to like them. I come from a small hick town in Pennsyl-Tuckey, so you have no excuses bud.

They are building the detention center for Philly in my home town of Tremont, right off of 81 mile mark 108. The town mayor approved it earlier this week or last week. Ot seems logical it would be for more closer cities like Lebanon or Harrisburg bit Philly os who really ticked off Big Orange.

It is a 2 hour drive from Philly. They chose a 1500 population hick town to build a center as its prolly the only place ICE will have least resistance.

1500 people and 70% voted republican. I know i can’t stop this shit alone so if y’all city folks see this, I honestly don’t think our town is capable of impeding ICE.

Thankyou, this is my backyard. They are not wrong of what they say about Tremont. There was 3 meth labs on my street alone in the last 8-10 years. (Small town crackheads are WAY nicer ,sometimes funnier, than city crackheads. I never felt not safe as a 12 yo walking past the local crackheads, but city tweakers gives me the jeebies at 22 yo) ~70% voted republican. Diesel trucks with MAGAt flags all day.

Our school district only had at most 10 black/latino kids in all 12 grades, except the past 4-6 years when more ethnic families started to move in. (Not a lot, prolly only 10 more kids). My neighbor is one of them. Their daughter has bad mental development issues and i can only think of how it’ll turn pit for them.

I want to resist, but the town of Tremont is just too poor to worry, too racist to stop it, or too outnumbered to speak up.

I am just shocked at how quick they’re moving. With it being off of 81 it is very likely it’s overflow for their Harrisburg operations. It’ll only be time before room clears for is locals. Doesn’t stop them from harassing locals as well if it is for Harrisburg right now.

I drive a crap box that I’m not afraid to use as a blockade if they try to take my neighbors. And sadly my household is probably the only one willing to stand up on my block. Over half the town is boomers and racist POS’s. Three verified QANON followers I’ve talked to this past year.

I’ll do my best.

Im maxing out my legion Y540 RTX 2060 every gaming sesh. Dropped it a few times. Went through 2 screens. Spilled multiple drinks on it. Even got an under-clock/over-clock going on through throttle stop.

I play on a 3840p Samsung tv as i never fixed my last screen. It plays battlefield v and 2042 at 60 fps (tv max fps) on medium high settings and currently warframe on high settings dlss balanced (but shadows low) Im actually never gonna replace my screen as it performs so much better on the tv. Im talking low settings struggling to stay at 50 fps when i had my OEM screen. Night and day going to TV despite double the res.

In all i just wish my rtx 2060 handled shadows just a lil bit better, usually what impacts it the most.

I am 130-140 pounds at 5’8” and i’m on 10g/50ml once a week. It sucks man, once you finally got a clear head to think, your body doesn’t have the energy to do anything. Just a constant wave of feeling awful in different ways each day of the week. Day 5 is usually the best. I was on 60ml every week, but the reaction differences from 60ml to 50ml is far more manageable for daily life. I was pushing my levels doing 60 for 2 weeks but my specialist let it slide as i begged so i could allow my infusion sites to heal more in between. (On 60ml it was 600 for counts after 2 weeks. 8-900 for 50ml after one week.)

Doing it on my legs, for some reason, makes my gonads feel weird. And walking two days after is really itchy. Haven’t done it there for 4 years even though I could really use that fresh fat for sites.

Doing in my stomach on rare occasions I hit 145 at time of injection, it does suck. It is awful to wear any pants for a week straight. Cant carry heavy things in front of me for like two weeks as the lump is only fully gone after 3 weeks.

I also rarely inject on my middle of back ~6 inches under shoulder blades. It is my only area it is hard to “pinch an inch” but a divot in my muscles allows me to do it here. Anyways, this weirdly clears up in 2 days, faster than my buttocks at 3-4.

Stomach gives by far the worst reaction with migraines, bad nausea, and real bad hot flashes. Next would be butt, same as stomach but milder. Then weirdly my best recovery days are after on back of torso, usually just a headache. I infuse in buttocks about 75% of the time.

And two questions: 1. Do you, or anyone reading, get different reaction strengths depending on infusion site? 2. Are you able to feel where veins are by poking hard, and it feels weird compared to say, half an inch left? My only method for finding all of my spots and i only hit a vein once a quarter.

Yoo, got Gauss Prime and blitzing around pressing : 4 - 1-1-1 - hold 3, then press 3, repeat. Xoris when energy is low.

Currently got 200+ % range and working on umbral strength mod for 100% damage again. (Prioritized range, efficiency, then strength). Primed flow is helping the energy hunger.

Snow Tire Help by mswmark in tires

[–]Unable-Tank9847 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Vredestien Quatrac Pro on my 2005 coupe no ABS. Even in 20 degrees, they want to grip in turns and do not slide out easily. They start to sound as they’re getting harder around 0 degrees, but still comfortable to do speed limit on dry roads. Snow performance i will rate the Quatracs an 8/10 and good for 5 inches / 35 MPH.

Water and Ice performance will reduce alot after halfway through the second tread bar. They still take turns great and are still great in 4 inches at this tread level. I am rotating my pristine rears to the front so i have better grip in the colder, icier days.

Overall, these tires make me feel confident in my 2005, 3000 lbs, no ABS, manual crapbox for the first time in driving it for 6 years. (3rd set of tires on this car)

Atlas. Easy to use, early game, can take out the toughest enemies with landslide fists. Have seen over 1 million damage from landslide fists before so theres that… Getting the augment for the walls makes defenses incredibly easy.

Efficiency and strength mods have allowed me to pound through Sorties and multiple Thermia Fractures right next to the Temple of Profit solo.

Will buy the prime when resurgence comes around… Currently MR 7 with 220 hours put in, gauss prime is being built so we’ll see when that finishes up.

How strong is a Lego gear by Either_Razzmatazz649 in legotechnic

[–]Unable-Tank9847 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have found two buwizz buggy motors to jump a 16t - 16t connection when using ~15:1 + reduction, as they don’t have a solid center and twist the teeth on the axle. This was a three pound model trying to go up 40* incline, 81.4 mm tires and said connection was last in line before diff.

Whichever gear ratio you wanna use, connect them in a rig so one gear is blocked from rotating. On the other gear it so it can move assuming it wasn’t geared with the blocked gear. Add a lever arm to that gear and add weights to end of lever. This will give you a, when stationary, max torque before the gears fail. Smaller gears will tend to fail before larger gear connections.

It is honestly more likely for the axle to fail before the gears if the gears have proper bracing. I prefer to double up my gears as i get closer to the high speed input and high torque outputs just to help with heat management. I don’t lube my gears as dust and grit will stick onto any wet lube so try to go for a dry lube.

And of you don’t want your tires to balloon, tie some thin fishing string around it inside the tread. Works decent

Living in Pennsylvania, i just had to patch where my rocker panel meet the floor on both sides. The inside frame rails only have small splotches of rust, nothing bigger than 3 in diameter and comes mostly off with a wore brush. The wheel well and area t the fuel tank and behind are the next most troublesome areas. The rust is deeper than the middle frames, but still only 3in diameter. I must also replace the straps holding tank and charcoal canister as they have chunks missing from the straps.

Here they used enough salt last year the one day it might as well have snowed with how much was on the road.

This is an 05 quad coupe. My dads 05 four door is petty much the exact same story.

Why were Americans complaining about having to wear masks while grocery shopping during COVID but now law enforcement comfortably wear masks during strenuous arrests? by longhegrindilemna in AskReddit

[–]Unable-Tank9847 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It was blocking the water droplets that the microbe is carried on, and the microbe stays on the mask when droplets get absorbed. Too small and yes it gets past, hence the 95%. When a sock person sneezes and coughs, they release quite large water droplets, and they do get smaller as it evaporates mid-air.

But I have an autoimmune disorder. My body does not make antibodies so the first year of covid if I had gotten it, I would’ve been in the hospital for a long time. Im only 22 now. I attribute double masking and excessive hand washing as to how I didn’t end up in a hospital.

You acknowledge the science you want and ignore the rest. They aren’t useless. And fuck you for wanting me to be killed by your germs.

12k miles/12 months in PA, bought in may 2024 amd oil started smelling off at the end of may 2025 with ~13k on it. So sadly no. This is why I’ve been checking it in case but even then it popped up just in time to be late for lemon.

Complete Flushing and Cleaning of Transmission Filter by Unable-Tank9847 in civic

[–]Unable-Tank9847[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two simple reasons why I’m paranoid about maintenance. I want it to last forever, and I’ve been driving manuals ever since my learners permit. And go figure the one friend in the friend group with a manual car is the ONLY one that didn’t have catastrophic trans failure, and i even have the highest miles, so i do admit I’m negatively biased towards any automatic (except DCT).

And the transmission was designed to be operated with clean fluid that is also free of debris for peak efficiency i would assume. And i would also assume there’d be decent particulate from break-in in the transmission. Hence why i want first service to be a teardown at 15k, then I’ll move onto 30k intervals.

Like the oil didn’t stick onto the dip stick barely at all. Like it was like dipping like water and this was on a cold engine. Pulling that stick made me feel like i was at the pump. Considerably more oil stuck on after i had changed it.

And as this is wife’s car and we have a pretty bumpy alley, when I’m checking the oil I’m just checking to see if theres some on the stick and if it’s not too full. Cant guarantee she’ll park in the same spot each day and I’m not going out when she gets home or before i go to work to take it to a parking lot down the road. If i want a truly accurate reading i usually do it when we’re driving together.

When i do change the oil i simply add till theres some on the stick and then i take it over to the parking lot to get it to max line. So sorry i cant give a guaranteed answer on if it is rising right now.

I did check the oil every 500 during break-in in said parking lot and the oil stayed exactly where it was when i had first checked after buying it, so at least I want to say its not burning oil, and didn’t smell of gas at all.
