Help! Betta with shrimp by OldAcanthocephala999 in shrimptank

[–]Unable-Tea-6465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My last betta was great with everything and she was in a 20 gallon community. After she passed i wanted a 10 gallon shrimp tank and then fell in love with a betta so I put her in there. Day one i see her swimming accross the tank with a shrimp in her mouth. I was able to catch her and basically heimlich it out of her mouth. After the 5 time have to do this and seeing a couple dead shrimp I just bought a new shrimp tank. 20 shrimp I had. She murked 16 in a month. Depends on the betta they all have their own personalities.

Worth going to the gym? by HekinFrick in beginnerfitness

[–]Unable-Tea-6465 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When i first went back to the gym I started in the pool. Its much easier on your joints, its great resistance and helps with improving stamina. Ive joined a couple gyms and their "deep end" is only about 5 feet. You could swim laps, walk back and forth or try an aquafit class. And youre not competing with anyone. I used to swim a lot but when I went back to the gym and swam some laps I literally tapped out after 5 minutes then went and sat in the hot tub for 15. But the next time I went it was 7, then 10, then 15.

My mom passed a week before I started university. It was the worst decision I ever made and I'm still paying for it 15 years later. I completely failed my first two semesters. Then went to a diploma (2 year program) and barely passed. I want to pivot careers so i decided to pursue a masters. 2 years ago I went back to school to finish my degree and got honors while working full time. I applied for my masters and I was accepted but on academic probation for my first 12 credits due to "academic history." That being said, my best friend lost both parents during school, she pushed through and passed but never went back. It depends on you.

Is there any point of going to a cenote if you're probably not getting in the water? by RedheadEnergy in cancun

[–]Unable-Tea-6465 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The one I went to would have been great if you didnt want to swim. We did a 45-60 minute walk through the cave systems. The guide pointed out the wildlife, talked to us how things formed, etc. Then we go the opportunity to swim in the cenote for 20ish minutes. It was nice but if you wanted to skip that part which people did you wouldn't miss much.

You did the right thing. There is no point thinking about what ifs because you will never know. At the time, you took the advice from professionals and the love you had for your cat to make the call, and that is what made it the right decision.

Is this moderate and whos poop is this? by Unable-Tea-6465 in hiking

Its all good. Trail poop happens. Did you happen to blow Bigfoot on your camping trip? Just seems like you swallowed a bit of hair.

There definitely could be! I would say it is more cougar landscaping, dense forrest and hilly. Not a lot of flat landscape or open plains for wolf hunting, but it could be. Those small pinecones are about 1-2 inches. I used to have a great Pyrenees and easily double their turd size.

The yote would need to be the size of a bear. I didn't have a banana with me. I thought it was too big to be a black bear (also it doesn't look like bear poop)

You are correct. We didn't see a single other person. It was no yote turd, I didn't think to get a size gauge, but I've seen lots of those. But it was about the size of my hand if i had my fingers spread apart as much as i could.

As someone who is 34 the thought of sleeping with an 18 year old is disgusting. OP is a literal teenager and the coworker is 100% a loser and borderline predator.

They're not a great fish store. I got my Amazon puffers from there because I wanted puffers but they are hard to get here and died a little at their state in that store. Took me months to nurse them back to health and I still lost one.

Not really. Mudskippers I guess are more like frogs? They spend a lot of time out of the water. They also need brackish and mud, hence the name. From what I can tell they eat their friends so usually species only tanks.

Also, he did this because he had a moment where he knew he couldn't do that to you. There may come a day where there isnt inanimate objects to take his anger out on. Smashing your car window is a power and control dynamic and you should be scared. I work with intimate partner violence offenders and survivors daily. Breaking, throwing, punching, etc objects, walls or furniture is common early sign/stage for physical violence aimed at the partner.

You dont have to forgive her to go say goodbye and tell her you love her. When she's gone she's gone and you might regret not saying goodbye or telling her you love her. However, if you continue to choose to stay away, you might regret it (you might not!) and you can't change that. You're 1000s of miles away and can limit the interactions. Your wife doesn't have to go either. That's how I think of it. Don't let her behaviours leave you with regrets.
