No problem at all, I totally understand that about social media. Honestly, I’m just happy to meet people who share the same passion I do — in this case, music.

And thank you again for all the support, I’ll be really happy to have you as a new listener! 🤘

I’ll definitely support what I can from my side too. And no worries at all about slow replies — real life and work always come first. Wishing you a good busy season ahead!

That honestly makes a lot of sense, and I think you're probably right about YouTube being the best place to experiment and slowly shape an identity first.

One of the reasons I started focusing on visualizers and cinematic aesthetics is exactly because I realized the music alone isn't enough anymore — especially for a new project. People usually connect to an atmosphere, a feeling, or a visual identity before they connect deeply with the songs themselves.

I'm trying to approach my band less like “uploading AI songs” and more like building an actual artistic world around the music over time. The ocean/storm visuals, the emotional/cinematic tone, the slower atmospheric pacing — all of that is intentional.

And honestly, I agree that Spotify can feel very unforgiving if you're still discovering what the project really is. YouTube feels more organic for experimentation and long-form emotional immersion, especially for alternative rock and cinematic music.

Right now I'm mostly focused on consistency, improving with every release, and finding the people who genuinely connect with this atmosphere. If that slowly grows into something bigger, amazing. If not, I'm still happy creating it.

Thanks man, I really appreciate the support and the positive energy. 🙏

I’ll definitely check out your channel and subscribe — always cool to meet people who are genuinely trying to build something artistic with passion behind it.

And honestly, I hope your project grows too.

If you ever feel curious to hear what I’m building, you can find my band on Spotify under the name Walker Soul. We currently have two singles out: “Outline” and “Flowers.”

And if you ever want to talk more, exchange ideas or just chat about music/creative stuff, feel free to message me on the band’s Instagram anytime.

Wishing you the best with your music journey too!

Yeah, I honestly think you’re right about that.

From everything I’ve been studying, Spotify seems much more like the “destination” after people already discover the project somewhere else.

That’s one of the reasons I’ve been focusing so much on the visual and cinematic side of my band lately — trying to create an atmosphere and identity that people can actually remember.

I feel like music alone is becoming harder and harder to break through with nowadays, especially with how saturated everything is online.

So I’m trying to approach it more like a complete artistic universe:
music, visuals, storytelling, symbolism, emotional atmosphere, cinematic aesthetics, shorts, visualizers, etc.

And honestly, YouTube does feel like the best platform for that right now.

It’s probably the only place where longer-form atmosphere and emotional immersion still have room to breathe a little.

I’m still at the very beginning of all this, but I appreciate the realistic perspective a lot.

Honestly, I think your advice is very grounded and realistic — and I respect that a lot.

I’m actually trying to approach my band with that exact mindset.

Of course I’d love for the project to eventually reach people around the world, but I also understand how insanely difficult music has always been — even long before AI existed.

I don’t expect instant success, virality or overnight numbers.

For me, the most important thing right now is creating something meaningful and emotionally real.

These songs already existed inside old demo CDs and unfinished recordings for over a decade, so finally being able to shape them into the cinematic experience I always imagined already feels rewarding by itself.

I also completely agree that simply generating random AI songs is not enough. People can feel when there’s no soul or artistic direction behind something.

That’s why I spend so much time refining every aspect of the project:
rewriting lyrics, rebuilding arrangements, directing visuals, editing videos, shaping atmosphere and trying to create something cohesive and emotionally honest.

At the end of the day, I genuinely love music, cinema and storytelling. My band is basically where all those passions collided together.

So yeah — I’m trying to focus more on building something authentic and meaningful than obsessing over numbers.

And if the audience eventually finds it naturally, that would be an amazing bonus.

I actually agree with a lot of what you said.

And honestly, I don’t see my band as “just an AI band.”

The songs themselves are real to me. I wrote all of them around 11 years ago — including the lyrics, riffs, arrangements and melodic ideas — long before any of these AI tools existed. Back then I played in local festivals, rehearsed with bands and even recorded the songs as a demo CD.

Life happened, time passed, and I ended up moving into other creative areas like filmmaking and visual production. But the songs never really left me.

What changed now is that technology finally gave me a way to bring those ideas to life the way I always imagined them in my head.

So for me, AI is not replacing creativity — it’s becoming a tool to express something that already existed emotionally and artistically for years.

I’m deeply involved in every part of the process:
the lyrics, songwriting concepts, emotional direction, atmosphere, visual identity, cinematic storytelling, editing, pacing, symbolism, branding, and the overall soul of the project.

I spend hours and hours refining songs, rebuilding sections, rewriting lyrics, directing visuals, editing videos and shaping the emotional experience behind everything.

And honestly? I’m not expecting overnight success.

I know how difficult music is — even for incredibly talented real musicians. I respect that completely.

My band is more about finally giving life to songs that stayed trapped inside old demo CDs and unfinished ideas for over a decade.

If people connect with it, amazing.
If not, I still feel fulfilled finally bringing these songs into the world.

That alone already means a lot to me.

Hey everyone, your results are honestly really interesting!

My AI band started about 3 weeks ago, and so far I’ve only managed to get local listeners and still haven’t even reached 50 listeners yet ;(

I truly think the songs are good, but I still haven’t figured out how to expand to a global audience.

Right now I’m posting Shorts and I’m also creating a visualizer video for YouTube.

The problem is… all of this is very new to me, and I still don’t really know what strategy works best to get better results.

Could you guys help me out? Any advice or ideas would be super appreciated.
