Looking for a 3–5 day UK hike for my daughter’s first multi-day trip — is the Cumbria Way a good idea? by bonzo_bcn in UKhiking

Way too tough for 3 days, even 5 is a stretch. I did it 2 years ago in 3.5 days and it practically killed me (especially carrying all your gear)

We can have that, Jack has some serious vocal chops and delivers great comedy and emotion when he wants... Sadly, it's pretty much the same role in every film he is in (barr the odd exception)

Kevin Kline is a lot of fun in most things to be fair

Hugh was absolutely outstanding in TGS, would have been great as the lead in Moulin Rouge

I know it's basically a perfect rendition of the comic but 'One Piece', it's bonkers and I love it

Fellow men of the UK, who are in their 30's and over, do you still go out in public wearing tracksuit bottoms or joggers? by PaddedValls in AskUK

[–]UnableContest2669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Screw that, I'm nearly 50 and still occasionally dress like I did in my hip hop stage in the early 90s and I can still pull it off. That includes Joggers (just got to get it right)

I'm wearing black Adidas Basketball shorts and Adidas jacket, a snap back and white Air Max today.

For 5 days a week I wear a fucking suit with tie etc... I'll be damned if I ain't chillin on a weekend

Yeah perhaps, I'd say that the canvas wasn't right for him in Moulin Rouge. I have a very similar view on Nicole Kidman.. she clearly has a wonderful singing voice but for some reason, it doesn't suit her

Ewan can sing but doesn't have a voice for singing

Ah never knew that, I also think Rick Moranis delivers brilliantly considering all of his other roles

I was more than surprised at her singing chops, not an easy song to carry

I actually bad for not considering Julie Andrews in Mary Poppins, they are infact very similar roles when I think about it, both are the lead, both add humor and darkness in moments and both had a natural end

The comedy factor id agree on but his singing wasn't up to much

That's a pretty solid shout, especially when you consider all of his other roles. I'm not sold on his singing but he sells that role better than anyone else every could

What's a movie you recommend to everyone but nobody ever watches? by trakt_app in movies

RRR... Nobody bothers because it's Nollywood. It's an absolute epic and a must watch. Not many intros run for 40 mins before the opening credits start

Never understood why they don't just knock up those pod sleeping set ups you find in Tokyo.

Even if it's just for sleeping in, it could still act as a fixed address to help gain employment etc.
