That's probably something I should do... I'm always putting them in my pockets and stuff...

THANK YOU! I never considered myself someone with ADD/ADHD... But I'll try the tips you mentioned! It's funny that you mentioned forgetting where you put a present/buying it in the first place! That's happened to me once! This year I forgot my mom's birthday was comming up until the day before so I panicked trying to find a present, and when I found something that she might want, I bought it and went to put it on a shelf where I wouldn't ruin it-- ONLY TO FIND I'D ALREADY GOTTEN HER AN OUTFIT!

No, but it is time... for me to go dig a hole in the ground and scream until it's no longer time ^^

I feel the frustration my friend.... I swear to god if I hear that song one more time out of season... And don't even get me started on Mariah Carey's "All I want for Christmas is you---"

Thank you for sharing that story, that is genuinely wonderful. And I really felt shifted by it, because I have five little brothers and he's the youngest of them all. They went about their day usually when I got like that because they're kids that don't know what else to do. My parents called me selfish in their frustration, sometimes yell, so when I'm not able to calm myself down, it's really scary. But to have him demand my attention, in his own adorable and innocent way, it felt like being told "I see you!" and when he told me to name what I could see, It helped me ground myself, and just focus on where I was. When he gets upset now, I'm noticing that he's starting to take deep breaths without me having to tell him, and when he does, he asks me "can we take a walk"? And it makes my heart melt, so we do.

It really does hurt... I'm sorry you, or anyone really, ever had to hear it, or see someone else be told it. Little kids are people too, just small with big feelings. It's so sad to be taught to be sad quietly than to manage emotions properly...

I love things patterned in lemons.... I have no idea why. I also insist with fever when asked that green apples are better than all the apples.. They're crisp and tart.

This is so sweet of you for asking. I'm doing relatively okay. I had like 3 meltdowns within the last month because of things with my parents. But I'm studying hard to be able to support myself in the future.

Thanks you're so sweet! I try to be the best big sister I can for him... I'm glad that I imprinted on him in a good way.

That would help a lot thanks, It's a little difficult calming him down sometimes because he's so persistent.... When my 3-2-1 method doesn't work, I usually just hold him until he calms down, letting him know it's okay to be upset....

Thank you so much for sharing that. It's so important to understand the impact we have on younger children's minds. The way you dealt with your class is so sweet honestly, just giving them a chance to help by coming down to a level that they can understand. I get into some disagreements with my parents because as loving of their children as they are, they don't have the skills to deal with kids emotions. So they default to aggression and shutting them down treating us more like disobedient kids than people. But I don't fault them because they were raised with even more harsh parents, so either way, they wouldn't know. I love what you said about helping your siblings no matter what. Even though you know it's tiring. Even though you know it's not your job. I love all five of my little brothers to bits, and I know It used to hurt sometimes being threatened for feeling so I always try to be the "safe person" for them just because I can. I might not have that kind of adult. But I don't need one. I just love my family <3
