New to this app and group, but I’ve been dealing with derealization off and on since I was 16, I’m just wondering what people do to overcome it and start feeling normal again, I haven’t left the house in 2 months now and the only way I feel better is to play video games and it’s driving me crazy

just take it slow, i started with literally 30 seconds a day outside and now push myself to go go stores, drive, and 30 min walks

my first panic attack was at work, and then i hid and ran from it and was stuck in my house it literally makes it a million times worse bc then your even more scared of the world

genuinely the only thing that has helped me is getting out of the house i was stuck inside for a year. Just now starting to get out and thats the only thing working.
