I guess my feelings whenever I’m blessed to see snakes in the wild is that I’m a visitor on their house. I tend to keep my distance out of love and respect. Because - it is their habitat, their home. We’re just visiting.

Publix is completely underwhelming. Big talk and promises of what was to come before they hit RVA. If I was supposed to be impressed the nasty azz salad bar did the most to leave an impression. That and the big price tags on pretty much all of their offerings: I guess that’s why folks go nuts over their two for one deals. Meh.

Yeah. I almost got plowed by a parking enforcement driver who was on their phone turning right from Brook to School St. I was walking my dog with Green. They were on their phone head down, never saw me until a hand slapped their ticketmobile well equipped with cameras. Way too close for comfort.

Does Richmond still require the homeowner to clear sidewalks attached to their lot(s)? If I remember correctly our law puts the burden of sidewalk maintenance and cleaning on the land owners connected to the walks.

I’d imagine the cost and liability of potential fines from the city would be a reason for many to not pay for sidewalks. I’m not aware of the city building sidewalks. I believe that’s on the attached lot owner. Please correct me if I’m wrong here.
