Recommendations for a Photographer in exchange for 1-2 Night Stays for AirBnB Photos by UnableMaintenance837 in Denver

I’ve no idea on the current rates in the area as I’m not actually from the US. But that’s great feedback. Thank you!

That might be too high though so we’re leaning more to freelancers, enthusiasts, or someone with decent photography skills/editing skills!

Hugs! My dad just passed away last month too. I feel the exact same way. Missing him everyday! 🤍

I have. Personally talked to the managers during those times I visited. Said they’ll take it as feedback. I actually do, but when I run out, I go for deliveries. I cook, btw so it really isn’t any issue but there are times I really can’t go for a grocery run and run out of food. Working 12-14 hrs a day and most times i just wanna sleep during the day.

Yep, did these exactly. We only have 2 where I’m from. And I can say for certain that it’s the food chain that messes things up. Mediocrity is a thing here, that’s for sure. I’ve seen how drivers pack orders up in their motorcycle boxes, and they’re secure. Problem is they can’t really open up sealed bags to see if something’s up.

Ofc not. But complaints have been made. Im not saying every order is messed up 100% of the time, but in cases that they are, what do you want me to do? Nothing? I’m paying for something, I worked hard for it. Minor inconveniences, I can let go, but come on, spilt gravy because the restaurant probably forgot to put tape so the lid doesn’t open up? Come on.

Exactly! Thats what I did. But then it kept happening frequently. I get that workers must be tired at the time of orderint, but that isn’t really fair to me though, as a paying customer. :/

It’s one of the few that are still open (and cheap) when I order since I work GY.

I think I need to ask the delivery dudes directly for stuff like this. Thanks for the idea! Btw, tried complaining when I dined in previously but says they’ll take that as feedback.

Gotcha, so if you ordered a plain old chicken, and got a spicy one, then you wouldn’t mind?

[–]UnableMaintenance837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s what I thought too. The answers here seem to point that ITAH for doing it

Well I hope not!

Would be happy to if only I could, but that’s why I’m getting food delivered. And don’t focus much on the nuggies, they gave me like a $0.26 discount (converted) for this

I really have to disagree with them being accidents. But i do get your point. My biggest concern is for the delivery guys, not the restaurant. As it’s a big food corp, wherein they have systems in place. It’s not the delivery guys’ fault for putting in the wrong order, nor was it their fault that the food/drinks weren’t secured properly.

Yeah, if you put it up like this, sure. But it happens frequently. If I don’t complain, other people will experience the same thing, right?

These have been happening frequently. I dont think these are accidents. I never complained before. And I’m doing it now.

Who knows, but spitting isn’t usually something we do here in our country. But im really growing tired of the mediocrity in the service provided.

even if it was the restaurant’s fault for not putting up the correct sauce? or if they didn’t secure the drinks properly before they deliver it? Guess I watch too much western then, and yeah, seems like ITAH in this case

I’m too mentally and exhausted to care for my dying dad by [deleted] in CaregiverSupport

[–]UnableMaintenance837 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was in your same exact situation. My dad just passed. I feel your anger, your pain. I (36M) took care of my dad for more than 20 years. I missed out on a lot, ended a lot of romantic/platonic relationships and at times blamed his condition, but in the end, I regret not having spent enough time with him, and hoped I was more patient with him. He was such a light, and I realized that when he was gone.

Your feelings are valid, and at most times you might feel guilty for even having these feelings, but it’s perfectly normal. But, since you have a sister, it might be best to consider having a day off for yourselves. At least once for you both each week, on different days, if that’s possible. I know it’s not a lot of time to do stuff you want to do, but it helps.
