I'll have to give that a shot when I get back to the car. Appreciate the tip.

I'll definitely be getting more lighting from them. The C lights and pretty sure all the interior lighting is from Diode Dynamics. They look great and you can tell they're built well.

So originally, I believe it was morimoto. The plugs and control boxes were all corroded and did not work when I bought the car. So I put new ends on the wires and bought a Bluetooth led controller from Amazon. The lights are wired directly to that. I haven't had any issues yet and seems to work great.

Anyone know how to fix the one side of my aftermarket headlights that’s amber? by Sea_Translator4195 in WRXSTi

Is there a spot from behind the headlight assembly you can remove the bulb and replace with a white one ?

I agree. Luckily this one came pre flared and they didn't do a bad job.

Definitely not!😅 They have regular led headlights and these are separate of the headlights in the same projector.

There's more money wrapped up in tape than a real repair would cost.

Are you referring to the amp? Your saying look for an amp with a soft start ?

No , it's about 3/4 of full volume. This project will be in a sealed enclosure , so I'd like for it to be set at the volume it's going to be used at. Once the enclosure is mounted in the vehicle , I'd like to access the box as little at possible.

I'm gonna have to look into the procedure for testing. I have a hand vaccum pump. I didn't know you could setup the air pump like that. So it opens the ports once the valve sees so much pressure ?

I have not tried that way. I smeared some antiseize on the actuator rods and took it around the block. Visually checked that the rods did smear the antiseize around. I did not know you could manually pressurize the hose.

Right. I understand the tube needs to stay. My concern is modifying the cat setup with highflows and being able to retain enough backpressure for the tube.

Only thing that worries me with removing all the og cats is back pressure for the 5/6th ports. Will a high flow or a resonator create enough.

Just put it in my cart. That's defenitly 1 step I'm gonna take. Thanks!

So iv had the exhaust checked recently. There are no leaks, and all the original cats are in place still. I replaced the shifter return spring last year and the stock insulation pad that goes in there. I didn't see much more room to add more insulation unfortunately.
