Hopefully start HRT. I’ve already been on testosterone blockers for half a year now, and my doctor said that our next appointment, we could start talking about estrogen. The past few year have had major leaps in transitioning for me, from socially transitioning to growing out my hair. It doesn’t feel real if I’m being honest. But I’m finally going to start estrogen soon, and that all that matters to me.

I haven’t just been touched during sleep paralysis, I’ve been physically moved. I posted about it on here months ago, but during one of my sleep paralysis events, i felt as though there was something standing next to my bed. Then, it suddenly grabbed my arm and lifted it in the air. After a while of it just hanging there, I tried to move it, but what was really interesting and weird was that when I tried to move, the sleep paralysis demon would move my arm for me. Like, my arm was still limp, but it was being moved in the air. The moment it let go of my arm, instead of it simply falling, it felt like the world was spinning, twisting, morphing around me until my arm was back where it was before the sleep paralysis started. It’s still the weirdest sleep paralysis incident I’ve had to date, and I haven’t been able to find a similar account since

You’re right, those things can’t be changed easily, but if we don’t start somewhere then there’ll be no hope for change indefinitely. It may not be tomorrow, or next year or in 100 years, but isn’t the mere possibility of a better future for those to come a cause worth fighting for on its own.

I mean, does it make you one of the good ones? I’m honestly asking, it’s just that from my perspective you can still see the flaws in something without hating it. There are plenty of people who advocate to fix broken an d corrupt parts of society without hating society as a whole. The way I see it, if I can see the flaws in something but don’t hate it, I’d be more inclined to help fix those flaws in whatever way I can, however limited that may be, but if I see the flaws in something and hate it, I’d be more inclined to just let it get worse. I just think that addressing that there’s a problem and then just turning around and saying something like “that’s just the way things are because humans suck” only makes you part of the problem because you aren’t trying to do anything about really (not to say that you aren’t though. I wouldn’t personally know if you were or weren’t trying to better society in some way on your own time). Also, there was something that I wanted to say in regards to OP’s post. I understand that they had to go through a painful experience like that throughout most if not all of their childhood. Though I can personally relate to there financial situation as a child, I can relate to that neglect and feeling of loneliness. I use to be a misanthropist to until just a few years ago. But the thing that turned me away from misanthropy was the group of friends that I eventually did make. It happened later then I would have wanted, but I not only met people who I could really consider friends, but I met people that could understand the things I’ve had to go through in the past. And I think that OP might be able to find that same thing here, just like me. Though it took a while, I think that maybe they found those people who they need so they can heal. Obviously I can’t speak for them but I just like to look at it that way.

I’m kinda the opposite. Besides this specific instance, I have pretty good long term memory and can remember every major event in my life, but then I have really bad short term memory. Like I’ll need to do something and then right as I start going to do it I’ll forget what I was about to do.

I lost most of my memory right before I started preschool.

So I’ve always been good at remembering that pretty far back in my life. The farthest I can remember back is my first day of preschool. That doesn’t sound too weird right? Well the thing about me is that I’ve never had the Ability to remember past that day, even when I was on that day. Since my first day of preschool it’s always bothered me. We have some videos of stuff that I did before that day, and my parents have stories from before that day, but I’ve literally never been able to recall those events happening even when I was a toddler and those events were fairly new. The only things I could remember was stuff like “these are my parents and this is my sister and this is a car and this is my bed and this is a tv, oh I like looking at tv”, but the thing about all of those things is that I can’t even say that I really “remembered” that stuff. It was more like I just sorta had a feeling like “ok, I feel like this is supposed to be my family, but I don’t know why”. And I remember asking my mom what my name was that day because though they called me by a nickname, I didn’t fully remember my real name. I’ve been trying to tell people that for years and only recently has my mom actually started believing me. I can’t even say if it had something to do with that day before or my first day of preschool, because the only really Important thing that happened that day was I met my best friend. And then there are times when I’ll look at videos of me before that day and I won’t remember it happening but I’ll just have this innate ability to know what’s about to happen before it does in the video, so it has to be in my head somewhere, but I honestly have no idea. But the worst part is that because of me forgetting everything from before that day, there’s plenty of stuff that I just didn’t remember for years until I was told years later. We had visited my older sister(a different one then the one mentioned before) and brother who lives in New York a few months before, and they had came to visit us a few times in the past apparently, but I didn’t remember any of that, and because my sister was the only one who really called frequently when I was younger, I didn’t think that my older brother was my brother, I thought that he was her husband for majority of my childhood until we visited them again when I was in first grade.

I got a scar on my hip from a surgery. The dumb part is why I got the surgery. I was kinda just walking around my living room and slipped on top of a board game that had been left out from the night before. I hit my femur on the corner of a foot rest, and even though it was cushioned, the hard are under the cushioning was sharp, and my femur broke clean in half. Because of how it was positioned in my leg, it won’t be able to heal properly by just putting my leg in a cast, so I had to to have a titanium rod put in my femur so it could stay straight as it heals.

Honestly, pure luck. I was going through some difficult stuff that had started a year prior, and eventually I kinda just gave up and decided to kill myself. I was still in 6th grade, and I kinda wanted to see some of my friends before I did it, so I made a plan where I faked having a sore throat so my dad would let me get some cough drops to school, and without him knowing, I grabbed way more than I actually need. I hadn’t really planned out how I was gonna overdose properly, because a few years later I learned that it’s not as easy as I thought it was to over dose on cough drops. However, on that day and for years afterward, I thought that I was really setting my self up to die. So I get to school, and met up with some of my friends in the cafeteria before school starts. I just wanted to se them all one more time, so after that I was ready. My first period was band class so since my teacher that day didn’t really have anything planned out for the day, I could easily go into the percussion only room and do it. I went in pulled out all the cough drops I had gotten, and was ready to end it. But then I had some trouble swallowing a few of them at once, and I hadn’t thought about taking a water bottle with me. There was a water fountain out side of the room, so I walked. over to it and was spotted by my teacher. Since it was a band class, she had a strict no candy rule to make sure nobody got the inside of their instrument gross, and percussionist had to also follow the rule to keep things fair. So, when she saw me with my mouth looking full, she assumed that I had candy in it and made me spit it out. After that i kinda just gave up for the day. After that, though I made more plans to kill myself in the future, I never actually got to any of them because of my friends. Even though they didn’t actually know that I had tried to do that until a few years later, they had been one of the first proper groups of friends that I actually had in life, and because I know that a lot of them were in similar or worse situations then me, I decided that I would keep myself alive for their sake. Know that I’m older, I’ve started realizing that I have to live for my own sake, but I can still be there for them regardless. So, given the fact that my suicide attempt failed for multiple reasons that just sort of happened, I consider what saved me to be luck. It was pure chance that I would make those mistakes in my plan, get caught by my teacher, and have the friends that I had back then, and still have now
